Er... it's an original song. It just has some very... reggae-ish (it's not really reggae) components... actually, I'm not entirely certain what the genre is. Someone who knows stuff about music might respond...

In any case, it's an orignal Ken Keeler/Christopher Tyng song. Most of the Futurama musicals aren't based on anything in particular (the exceptions being the Grunka Lunka song, and 'Bee Happy.')

No offence, but is Elzar even funny? I definately vote for Hermes, especially that laugh in Spanish Fry...hilarious. Only real funny thing with Elzar that I can remember was in TWOF, when Chaz flashes his badge, his expression and the "Okay then" is pretty friggin funny. But  we don't see Elzar as much...
