I wanted to make a poll about peoples favourite Billy West voices, but I figured if I listed his six most frequent characters (Fry, the Professor, Dr. Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, Richard Nixon's head and Smitty the Policeman) the outcome would be too obvious. So this is a poll dedicated to which of Billy's secondary or one-off character voices you think is best.

Obviously with only 10 slots I couldn't get all his voices up there as options so I listed the ones I felt stood out the most. (note: "the film narrator" is the guy who narrated the videos in ABPOG, IDAR, COTH and Spanish Fry)

Oh, btw, my vote goes to the Network President from BSNBAOTV. It wasn't Billy's most gimmicky voice but to me it had all the venom and cynicism in it that a president of a certain mainstream TV network would have in his or her voice, so I think it worked really well.

M5438, simply for the fact he did it without technical aid. That's something.

Although Gorgak's voice was great too.

The way Billy did the Network President's voice, despite being really plain, just fits it perfectly.

Second choices would be Nixon or Leo Wong...

I went with "other". Namely the narrator of "The Scary Door" (And doesn't he do the last man on earth as well?)... I love The Scaray Door! And the narrator thereof!

[EDIT]Also: Who is M5438?[/EDIT]

If you guys read my first post, I mentioned why I left Nixon off the list.

Pikka, Maurice LaMarche played both those Scary Door parts you mentioned. M5438 was the energy being that Amy introduced Leela to at The Hip Joint in LLLiS.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think that they should have gotten Ardwight Chamberlain to do the voice for M5438?

Dammit! Where did I get my information? I have NO idea, but I'm sure I didn't invent it myself. (Yers- I'm looking for someone to shoot the blame at).
In that case I will choose the guy on the tape (why do they use older-than-ancient MD tapes in Y3K?) who smells the garbage ball passing by Neptune... The reason: It wouldn't make my vote invaldid and also, it's the only place I can tell that Fry and Farnsworth is the same voice actor...
Another thing- It's monstrously funny that M5438 ends up scoring with Amy (at least, I assume that's why they leave together...)

Does anybody else in here think that Billy's god-voice sounds a bit too much like a not so weird Zapp?

Not really. Only so far as it's the same voice actor, to be honest. Billy said on the commentary for Godfellas that voice was based on Vic Perrin and I've no idea who Vic Perrin is.

Vic Perrin was the voice of Nomad in the Star Trek episode "The Changeling", among other things.

Having heard Billy West say

"Robopuppy mistreatment alert!"

in the commentary for Jurassic Bark, totally unprocessed, I'd have to go with that.

First of all, I like the title of this thread.

Secondly, M5438 and Judge Whitey would have to be my favourite out of the choices.

"...But if he doesn't exist, we don't..."

Enos is pretty funny, though. But a reeeaall dork. What the heck did Mildred see  in him?

GADZOOKS!

But Fry and Nixon are the BEST!
