Short answer: Leela. Le - Le - Le - Le - Leeeeelaaa!

Long answer: (A thousand universes would flash into existence and fade away by the time I completed my post, so here's a brief abstract.)

If we're talking about entering the cartoon world I'd have to go for Leela.  When David Cohen made that fateful suggestion on the first storyboard to make Leela cuter, the artists did a damn fine job complying.  The occasional insults from Amy about Leela's lack of attractiveness leave me totally puzzled; Leela is H-O-T hot!  And her personality is so appealing to me in so many ways.  In addition to her being smart, strong, level-headed and loyal she's vulnerable and sweet too.  A rare specimen, a dazzling jewel, a precious flower of a woman is she.  Uncountable are the men who would fight to the death for her.  She goes home alone at nights to cook and freeze her dinners for the month- yeah, right!  I can believe the whole flying cars thing before I believe that!

Of course I'd be up against Fry and I'm sure that after the "Robot Hands" episode Leela has finally looked past his faults (many though they are) and allowed herself to fall in love with him.  I'd want her all to my own, so I'd be off to find the box with the parallel universe where Fry is gay and out of the way.

Now if we're talking about the cast stepping off the screen into our world...  Hmmm, have you seen a real cyclops mutant?  Kinda freaky...  I'd have to think about it... 

"Uh, I'll call you later Leela...  We can still be friends, right?  Hey, I have a great idea! I know this plastic surgeon and... (Ouch!)  Oh, Hi Amy!  Say, would you like to see my car's backseat and maybe get some coffee?...  Great!  Well you know what, I don't really like coffee either!"

Didn't intend to upseat anyone, jle.  I assume you refer mostly to the sexist schtick in the last goofy part about Amy.  It's supposed to be tongue in cheek; read it is if spoken by Zapp.  Also maybe I didn't explain well enough that it is Leela's inner sweetness that it captivating and that it multiplies her total appeal and makes her head and shoulders above so many other female icons that pop culture puts out there.  Heck, there are thousands of other hot looking female personalities but you won't find me spending time typing about them.  (And biological attraction works in the other direction too - read some of the ladies' comments in the Buff Fry thread.  It's just how natural selection works in our species.)  Anyway, don't take offense.

I'd date Fry in a second if I had the chance. I love everything about him - his personality, his cutenese, his lovely voice. I'm a sucker for American accents anyway as I'm from the UK, but Fry's voice is just amazingly adorable and I could fall in love with just that. Sad I know, but so true. I also love Fry's vulnerability and his childishness but intelligence that he also has. I just think he's wonderful!
