And that is why I think the poll is rigged.    I mean they have to mice and Bugs Bunny in drag on the list, but not the hottest cartoon babe since .... well, ever! It's a travesty.

I know what happened. They had Leela as #50 (don't ask why, they're crazy), and the picture was too hot for the imaginary wires to handle. They burned to ash within seconds.

I just think it's great there are several Disney babes on it, I'm a fan of Disney. I would vote for Pocahontas. The story of her (also the true story) is very passionate and she's sexy, because she has passion.

Leela just doesn't do it for me, I can understand why Futurama-fans like her, but this fan doesn't think she's sexy (but she does beat Amy, don't think she's sexy at all).

I have a theory:

Leela is mainly attractive due to her personality.  Fans of Futurama consider her cute because they are familiar with her from watching the show.

Attraction to Amy is based more on appearance.  She's still cute, even out of context.  Therefore, to the average person, (not just to Futurama fans), Amy is cuter.

Faye Valentine is a dumb bitch.  For a cool anime chick voiced by Wendee Lee, try Kei from the Dirty Pair, Kagero from Ninja Scroll, or Umi from MKR.

Gadget was my first animated crush.  (No more however.  Furry is creepy)

Betty Rubble?  No.  Harley Quinn?  Yes.

Ezmirelda should have been the highest rated Disney chick.

As for Leela?  Maybe she should have been on there...but maybe not higher than, say, Morgan Proctor.

Where was Eliza from Gargoyles?  She was way hotter than April O'Neil!

I don't think it was meant to be disrespectful.  "Babe" just means an attractive young woman.  Some people might find the term offensive, I suppose; but it's on a site rating cartoon characters.  It's probably best not to take it too seriously.
