Does Zap knows that Leela's a mutant?

I don't really know if u guys had already discuss this but have u notice there aren't really anymore (correct me if i'm wrong) advances from Zap after Leela's Homeworld. Does he know? And does he care? It would be quite a stigma to "make-out" with a mutant me thinks. And Leela's ain't really hiding the fact she is a mutant either (The mutant passses from Mayor Poopimiyer).

Yes there are, Zapp still loves Leela in "300 Big Boys". And also, Poopenmeyer probably didn't know Leela was inviting any relatives, nor that she was a mutant.

no one but the crew knows leela is a mutant. If Zapp ever found out he would probably have her imprisoned.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't know.  However, remember, Leela isn't ashamed of her parents, and invited them to the surface.  Zapp would still want to sleep with her (he wanted to sleep with her when he thought she was a guy), but he would be repulsed by it.  And of course he would have her arrested.  He always does.

The woman he was with didn't really seem to be enjoying herself though - she just sat there smoking with an unamused look on her face. I think he probably paid her to go with him or something so he didn't look as pathetic as TinyTimBot's grammar.

Zapp wil always try to score with Leela, anything else will go against his own selfimage as a real ladies man, since it will mean he admits defeat to other lesser men (like Fry).

Similar if he knew Leela was  amutant. He would probably have her deported, but he would still try to score with her in the process.

Well, Zapp referred to Leela as a "hot alien babe" in 1ACV04, and made gestures at that trumpet alien in the Miss Universe contest in 2ACV06l. So it's hard to tell if he'd be repulsed if he found out he'd made it with a "hot mutant babe."

Zapp is the type of person who doesn't care if his entire crew gets killed. I doubt he'd care if he had sex with a mutant who he considers incredibly hot.

One thing that baffles me is this: Where does Zapp get his confidence. He says that Leela is the only woman that has ever loved him physically. So he's never scored before or since... Why does he consider himself irresistable when women hate him?

Perhaps because of all his victories in battle, such as the assisted living nebula and a few others i cant remember. He may assume that because he's such a decorated officer, women/alien babes must find him irresistable.

But why did he rise to his current rank? His only strategy is to send wave after wave of men at the enemy. The only plausible explanation would be that another officer had the same strategy, and that Zapp was in in the last line of the last wave *every* time, so he'd get decorated for surviving, then promoted.

Well, Fry is going for more than just a round in the hey with her- he is attracted by Leela as a person, whereas Zapp just goes straight for the home-run. But no, he doesn't care. Hot she is, and therefore Zapp's eyes are only on the "target". Plus, he probably has more of a "scoring with oddities" fetich. Fry is.. you know- in love.

I think it would depend.  Zapp would probably be willing to have sex with Leela, probably even more, since she'd be a mutant, and therefore it'd be "naughty", but he'd probably also have her imprisoned for rising above her station in life.

Zapp is an ass for the most part, and though he's got a captaincy in the DOOP, sooner or later, he'll be found out for what he is, therefore, Leela would be better off with Fry in the long run, in my opinion.

Well no basically he doesn't know that Leela is  a mutant because they haven't really spoken since that episode (Leela's Homeworld) much have they. But i'll agree that he wouldn't care he'll still like to get with her.       Maybe someone will write a script of Zapp finding out about this, it would be a funnny episode whouldn't it? (that's reterical)

Zapp seems to want to hump anything that moves.  Combine this with the obvious fact that he's pretty desperate and you find him snoo snooing Amazons and impregnating runaway holodeck characters.  No, I don't think he'd care too much about Leela being a mutant.
