Best Zapp Moments

What are your favorite moments with The Zapper.

Mine are:
"Love Labor's Lost in Space", when he tries to seduce Leela in his bedroom/the love-nasium.

"Brannigan, Begin Again", the two courtroom scenes. The one where he loses his job and the other where he get's his job back.

"Kif Gets Knocked Up a Knotch", when Kif is talking to Amy on his video-phone, Zapp is in in the background drying himself off.

And my pesonal favorite is in "Amazon Women in the Mood", where he sings "Leela."

I don't like Zapp that much he bores me everytime trying to won Leela's heart, except the one time they had "it" what episode was that in.

It was "Love Labor's Lost In Space". Don't dis Zapp. He is one of the funniest characters on the show.

I loved when he tried to sing the song about Leela
in "Amazon Women In The Mood", and in "Kiff Gets Knocked Up A Knotch" when he was watching cartoons.

I love it when he lets Bender and Fry sit around drinking beer in underpants until they're loyal enough. And then when Kif asks for a beer, Zapp says he's loyal enough already

The best moment is, of course, when his butt shows under his uniform when climbing up the stairs in "Love Laborer's Lost in Space."   That was genius.

A two way tie for me between his wonderful rendition of the Kinks "Lola" in Amazon Women and any neutral line of his in Branigan Begin Again.  You just can't go wrong with neutral humor.

"War Is The H-Word" is a tour-de-force of Zapp's stupidity and incompetence

"Men, you're lucky men.  Soon you'll all be fighting for your planet.  Many of you will be dying for your planet. A few of you will be forced through a fine mesh screen for your planet.  They will be the luckiest of all."

As long as we're apparently on a "Problem with Popplers" vibe:

"During the negotiation they thought Kif was the statesman and I was a jabbering mental patient!"

(Kif takes out an etch-a-sketch and shakes it)

Kif shaking the etch-a-sketch had my crying with laughter.

But Zapps finest moments are in "Amazon Women In The Mood" and "Love's Labours Lost in Space."

The song "Leela" is a classic for all eternity (and extra cool-points for the Shatner-bashing/reference), as are the scene in LLLiS when Zapp and Kif speak int he observation lounge.

Zapp: "Have the boy lay out my formal shorts."
Kif: "The boy sir?"
Zapp: "You! You lay out my formal shorts."

"I'm willing to put wave after wave of men at your disposal. Right, men!?"
"You suck!"

And the two alltime greatest Zapp-lines:

"You know you wont get half-way to Vergon 6 before the craving sets in. Then you'll come crawling back for another taste of sweet, sweet candy. Bam!"

"You win again, gravity!!"

"Brannigan Begin Again" baby. Neutral comedy gold!

But Brannigan rules in all the episodes where he is centred. Rules every episode featuring him except "300 big boys" and "Kif gets knocked up a notch"

What makes a man go neutral, lust for gold, power? Or where you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I can't remember the exact quote, but the one where he has to ask Kiff about his very sex disorder.

Also, all the parts in "War is the H-Word", especially when he is parading aond naked in the showers.

ok. talk about coincidence...last input from frymeister..that quote...i read it just as i played that exact episode and just as zap said that exact line (bought the dvd weeee, commentaries rock)

But my favourite is when Zapp really thinks that Bender & Fry are   Wingus & Dingus. In the popplers episode

When Aliens Attack:
Zapp:"Like all great plans, this is so simple an idiot could have devised it! The ships will line up and move in single file towards the alien death rays, clogging them with our wreckage."
Fry: "Wouldn't it be best to let the robots go first and..."
*Bender strangles Fry, but then his patriotism circuit kicks in*
Bender: "Sir! I volunteer for a suicide mission!"
Zapp: "You're a brave robot, but when I'm in command, every mission's a suicide mission"

Leela: Look, are you gonna rescue us or not?
Zapp: Can't you ask a little more sexfully?
Leela: Pleeeeease, big Z?
Zapp: Certainly! But first you'll have to get rid of that thing. That's the law, Leela. And Brannigan's Law is like Brannigan's love - hard and fast.
