There should be a character who is a Cycloptic-Genius-Ginger-Robo-Decapodian who has a lot of money and lives in Jamaica!

I was going to comment earlier about how that character seems right at home in the futuramaverse, but I noticed that you posted it almost 4 years ago.  Do you have a link to the fanfic, btw?

You've never wanted to make your own Futurama character before?  His name is Chris Turnkey, and he carries pistols and a bayonet and works for the DOOP as a secret assassin that jumps from world to world.  One day the Futurama crew come across a distress signal on a distant moon while traveling to Alpha Centauri to drop off quantities of Illudium where they meet the infamous Turnkey.

I'll bite.

Jolene
A fembot who Farnsworth employs as a secretary.  Jolene is incredibly lazy, and despite being capable of filing vast amounts of paperwork in a few minutes, she only does the minimum, and then spends the rest of her work day playing games or checking her email.  She also is a big believer in naptime, and there are times when some people suspect she may be a narcoleptic, even though Hermes asks: "Why would anyone build a narcoleptic robot?" Occasionally however, she will call on higher reserves and power and functioning, but only if she thinks it will get her a raise.   Since he is the only one who sees through her act, Hermes does not like her very much.

Aranea
A spiderlike alien from a faraway planet, Aranea appears as a spiderlike woman, with multiple eyes and legs, dark purple skin, and an hourglass mark on her stomach, similar to a black widow.   She is a very friendly and caring woman, despite barely restraining a tremendous hunger to devour the Planet express crew, except for "the too crunchy robot."  She also appears to be mentally unstable at times, snapping into furious rages or making threats under real or imagined slights, but these are rare.  She has two sisters named Joy and Nellie and an unnamed brother, who are considered much more attractive then her.  On one occasion she laments her role as the plain sister, saying "Even my brother kisses more boys then me!"   She is very artistic, and is fond of painting with oils and giving them as presents, though a lot of her subject matter seem to be a window into her barely restrained hunger for human flesh, and usually give their recipients nightmares.   She also seems to be attracted to Zoidberg, though its ambiguous whether this is genuine attraction or a desire to eat him.  It is unclear what her job at PE is, but Leela remarks "She is very good at clearing out those owl traps."

Thankyou!  I can imagine her visiting Earth to enjoy "Those tasty, tasty owls."  Maybe owls on her homeplanet are an endangered species, so she's coming to earth for an all you can eat buffet.
There could be an episode where Poopinmeier hires her to sort out the owl and homeless problem.  Bon appetit!

I feel weird typing this, because owls are my favorite animal.  Lol!

I also think she could be fairly ignorant of Earth customs and the biology of other species, though not as bad as Zoidberg.  (She compliments Sal on the fact that he is "obviously swollen with eggs" since having the largest clutch of eggs is a sign of high status on her planet, but refers to Fry's modest pudge as being "no magnum opus")  She is also banned for life from the Head Museum, after trying to eat E.B. White's head.

She probably gets together with Chris Turnkey as they undertake a dangerous mission to the Juniper belt to retrieve precious metals from an asteroid that resides halfway between our universe and another dimension! :D

Thankyou!  I think your story sounds interesting, though I have to admit im not sure who Chris Turnkey is.)  I try my best, but I'm not sure the fans would appreciate a new Planet Express character muscling in on the core seven,  She might work if she has her own episode and appears every so often, like Scruffy and Washbucket.  (And Amana if we see her again.)  I think she could work, but whoever wrote her would have to take care, since there's a fine line between making an interesting new character, and writing an attention whoring, spotlight stealing Mary Sue Wesley Crusher type.  I did have some idea for some jokes for her.   I was thinking Arenea could be considered extremely plain for her species, who for the most part are capable of inspiring lust in most other lifeforms, regardless of species or gender.  (So the Lobshians you do see are not considered very attractive, with the supremely hot ones only appearing offscreen.)

(PE team are sitting around Arenea showing them some photos.)
Fry: WOW!  Arenea, I had no idea you had such a hot sister.
Arenea: That's my brother.
(Fry looks disgusted for a few seconds, then) I still would!
Leela: Fry! (disgusted)  Don't - (catches sight of photo) Wow... do you have any more brothers?
Amy: Or...(nervous gulp) sisters.  (Leela looks hesitant, and then nods.)
Zoidberg: She's not fussy and neither am I!
Arenea: Yeah, that's Joy. And that's Nellie!
Farnsworth: Oh, my.  Your siblings are exquisite.  Are you by any chance, adopted Arenea?
(Arenea sighs.)

(Arenea's apartment.  It's basically covered with webs and spider silk, around which she climbs.  There are also many cocoons with owl wings poking out of them.)
Arenea: Welcome to my home!  Oh, hold on a second, I detect something in my web.  Excuse me.
(sound of a cat screech and a gobbling sound.)

I was also thinking Arenea's species could turn up as background characters/tertiary characters every so often, all named after famous spiders. (They themselves are called Lobshians, from the planet Lobshe.)
Madame Goliant = Doop ambassodor
Anita and Arabella = Chatshow hosts. Often have to restrain themselves form eating the guests/audience.
Charlotte (duh)  Arenea's mother.   Is a Mommy Dearest type, and so likes Arenea the best, since she is the only one of her children she does not feel threatened by.

It could also be possible that this spider race eats their parents shortly after birth.

Chris Turnkey is the character that coldangel would like to see as a new addition to Futurama.  You can see my post up there for a general conception of him and how he might interact with the PE crew.

Ah I'll go have a looksie for him!

I was thinking that Charlotte is a burnt out white dwarf starlet, and as so, feels threatened by her children (it could be possible that the prospect of being upstaged by her offspring actually terrifies her far more then the thought of them eating her).

I also had some ideas for other characters

Samantha
An alien supermodel with a knockout body, but has a hideous face that is a cross between a praying mantis and a hagfish.  Despite this, she is considered highly attractive amongst males of many different species.

Mog
The grandmother of Fluffers, (the cat alien), she is a crazy old human lady who keeps a dozen humans in her house.  She's in Hatty's book club.

Nix and Hydra
A pair of female aliens who have blue hair and blue skin.   They rarely appear, but are implied to be angels, beings from a higher plane of existence, goddesses, earthly manifestations of a god, or something similar.  They possess many strange powers, such as the abilities to
manipulate gravity, teleport, speed up and slow down time around them, phase in and out of walls and breathe in the vaccum of space.  The rare times they appear they might use their powers to save or benefit a passerby without that person's knowledge, but they of course do not appear in critical moments where they would be a deus ex machina.  Their personalities and motives are also left ambiguous, as its unclear whether they are using their powers to genuinely save people, or for their own amusement.  They rarely show emotion, and seem to prefer being in the background subtly helping people, and most of the cast seems completely unaware of their existance.

As interesting as some of these characters sound, I'm not really sure how some of them would fit into a typical episode.

Fry and Bender would get on his nerves by calling him "Turkey" instead of "Turnkey" (Fry out of stupidity, Bender out of meanness).  Then at the end of the episode he'd probably die in some horrible and/or humiliating fashion, all the while frustrated by the fact that the PE crew wouldn't take him seriously.

To be honest, I don't really see how any of them would fit, except maybe the robot secretary, and even that one would be odd because Farnsworth never had a secretaty before, so why would he have one now all of a sudden?

He doesn't really need half his employees, and most of his employees are pretty incompetent (he is clearly bad with money), and he is incredibly eccentric and pretty senile.  If he suddenly decides he wants a secretary, he will get one, despite him not having the payroll to really employ new people.

The others I see:
Arenea: A temporary love interest for Zoidberg.  I was thinking her homeworld could join the Doop in her episode, and a large number of her species decide to emigrate to earth, to enjoy human rinds and those tasty, tasty owls.  I was also thinking the joke that she could be occasionally be hired by the Professor to do one off jobs, and Hermes constantly questions "Why are you hiring new people when you significantly reduce our pay every other week, and have cut our dental and health plans?" while the professor snaps "Because I said so dammit!" This is further lampshaded when no one has any idea what she does besides cleaning out owl traps.  I was also thinking that the Professor would be interested in her as a test subject, especially the possible uses of her alien spider silk (scientists are currently trying to replicate the silk of our spiders.)  It could also be the Professor is secretly hoping to dissect her whenever he gets the chance, and occasionally leaves out poisoned owls in the traps, but hasn't yet found a toxin that would kill her.   She wouldn't be a main, since the fans really wouldn't like a new character joining the principal seven, but she would pop up from time to time like Scruffy does.

As for the others, they are all minor and background characters, so they wouldn't really need an introduction.

I would like to see a non stereotypical southerner transplant. Average good ole boy from Georgia or something similar. Not like Lost City of Atlanta, all antebellum and such. I am thinking more like a normal guy who drives a hover Z71 Chevy and is there as a mechanic/laborer.

I have to admit, considering how a large swathe of the South just can't resist making the entire population look like child abusing, intelligence hating, gay bashing, racist, bible bashing, science rejecting hicks, it would be nice to see some positive characters representing the south.   When I think about it, I can count the amount of positive "Southern" characters on my left hand (Tree Trunks from Adventure Time, and Mary Godwin from Xenosaga.)

Looks a bit like Digby, but some minor differences are visible. He occasionally tries to murder Nibbler, because of certain actions done in the past! Or AKA: The year 3000 (before, or even during the events of Vergon 6). What happened is up to you, the reader to figure out!
