I'm new to this, so i hope I'm not repeating, but does anyone else think that Scruffy the Janitor is the man?  Reading Zero G Juggs and then in the Luck of the Fryish episode when Fry says, "not even Scruffy!" i couldn't stop laughing. Long live Scruffy--He's gonna die like he lived.

What about an episode just about Scruffy? To learn more about his past, present and future life?
Whatever, that'll need new episodes.

The whole point is that he *should* be a main character, because he's the only other employee, but he's so lazy and indifferent that you never ever see him. Technically, every episode stars him, because that's how he stars.

It would be cool if they had made him part of the Planet Express crew more. Like he goes on trips to clean the ship and such.

I got the impression from the S2 DVD that scruff (who first appeared in AOI1) was originally going to be a flaw in the What if machine, to show that it wasnt all that accurate, but then he ended up making his way into usual eps.

can someone who can be bothered to dig up their DVDs confirm this?

Teral maybe?  :D

I was hoping that there would be more Futurama action figures.  Imagine sending in all proof of purchases for an exclusive, limited edition Scruffy figure!  In a standard slack pose and a glazed look to his eyes.

It's definitely just me, but I always get the feeling that maybe Scruffy is an old descendant of Atlanta, Georgia because he has that Southern accent going.  Most noticebly in Parasites Lost, if my hearing serves me correctly he says:
"Scruffy forgot where he lives.  :machine explodes:  Marmalade."

Luck Of The Fryish
Fry: I hid it in a secret hiding place whose location I never told anyone, not even Scruffy!
