Nixion is kind of funny and i to love his "awruum!" thing. The funniest nixon moment was definetly when he yells shut up to his dog cheackers. i dont know why i found that so funny but i was rolling around on the floor for ages!

Jep, me too.
The Nixon-heavy episodes "A Head in the Polls" & "Crimes of the Hot" are among my favourites for everything Nixon says.
Especially the Nixon-classics:
"NIXON'S BACK!!!!"

"Computers may be twice as fast as they were in 1973 but your average voter is as drunk and stupid as ever. The only one who's changed is me. I've become bitter, and let's face it, crazy over the years. And once I'm swept into office, I'll sell our children's organs to zoos for meat. And I'll go into people's houses at night and wreck up the place! Muhuhahahaha!"

and the "Do you like to party? To boogie down..."-thing.

Nixon is great, mostly for his crazy streak and his arooooh noise. And it's a tradition to bash him.

He's been in some of the best episodes "A Head In The Polls", "War Is The H-Word" and "A Taste Of Freedom".

"Nixon's not coming back with the smokes???  AAAHHH!"

OK, while technically (read: obviously) not a Nixon quote, it's still a funny quote that referd to Nixon.  And I only used it because I can't remember the exact phrasing of "I didn't live 1000 years and travel a gizillion miles to look at another man's unit" (or something like that) from War is the H-word.

That's right except he said gizmo instead of unit.

Nixon is pretty funny, i'm not a big fan though

The fact that he is totally diabolically demented and evil in real life as well. Same goes for Kissinger.

Oh, come on!  Not even a snicker occasionally?

Unrelated rant: the episode's on right now!  It's on and I'm missing it!  It's almost over, even!  Stupid work.  At least I remembered to tape it.

I'm a sucker for political satire, and Nixon's scenes offer that, so he's one of my fave characters in the show.  Plus, the writing and voicing for him is always so inspired, perhaps because the writers (or at least Groening) hated him so much and enjoy bashing him so much.

Me not knowing anything really about Nixon means i don't get alot of it. But yet he's still an incredibly funny character, as mentioned earlier his "Hurrrou" type thing, classic!

My personal favorite is from 'War is the H-Word'.
Zapp has just stepped out of the shower and it drying himself off. Kif holds Nixon's jar about waist height.

Nixon: (to Zapp) "I didn't live a thousand years and travel a quadrillion miles to look at another man's gizmo!"

Classic!  :laff:

Another favourite of mine is in "war is the H-word", where he sais "Now that`s a nice rosea!"

Don`t know how to spell rosea(whatever).

Rosé

"So anyway, we opened up the panda crate, and wouldn't you know it, the damned thing's dead. Upchugged it's bamboo! True story"

"Slow down there Starsky, I'm up to something here. I want this robot fixed. Fixed like Kennedy fixed the 1960 election, damn beaneating warhero!"

Always makes me smile.

Futurama's version of Nixon is so far over the top as to enter the realm of genius.  Every time his head appears, I can't help but remember his appeareance on "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In" and his memorable line:  "Sock it to ME??"  Besides, you gotta like someone who runs around with the headless body of Spiro Agnew (his first VP).

Morbo: If you were to see candy in the hands of a human child, would you seize and consume it?
Nixon: Uh...uh..
Morobo: May I remind you that you are under truth-o-scope.
Nixon: Uh..that depends...you didn't say what candy...well I certainly wouldn't harm the child.
*truth-o-scope goes mad*

And his "Aroo".

You know, I never noticed Nixon's "Aroo" until it was pointed out to me.  I guess I fail watching the show.
