Who should join the PE ship crew?

Who would you like to see regularly going on the deliveries with Fry, Bender and Leela? In the poll I've only included characters that already work for Planet Express.
On a related note, which Futurama character would you most like to see working for Planet Express?

No, I'm talking about the PE employees that regularly go on the deliveries. That's Fry, Bender and Leela.

Where does everybody get this idea? Amy's as much a crew member as Zoidberg. She's an engineering intern to the Professor, which means her duties are probably restricted to maintainence on the ship (she has to ask to go anywhere).

Bender, Fry and Leela are the three primary crew members (witness When Aliens Attack).

If I have to pick one... Amy because Farnsworth and Hermes should stay at the building and Zoidberg and Cubert would be too annoying. The times she's gone with the crew were funny, like in The Series Has Landed.

I'd like to see Scruffy go out on at least one mission -- but not join the crew permanently.  I'd like to see Planet Express hire someone's head, although I'm not sure whose.  Maybe Ron Popeil's?

I'd vote for Amy 

Farnsworth may think Zoidberg is too valuable to join the crew on a regular basis since the job's so risky. Zoidberg would be too expensive to replace, if you know what I mean

If I had to pick one, I'd go with Farnsworth because he's always really funny, and I think he worked really well in 'Leela's Hurdles' when he went looking for Pazuzu with them

We need more women in the show more regularly. You Can't Get Enough Amy Wong! she would be the ultimate compliment to the crew, someone to put leela's power trip also known as being captain in check. insults, hate, maybe one episode where they become jelous of each other over fry.

she would have had to graduate collage some time, after that she would become an engineer full time and every ship needs an engineer.

AMY: Captiain She can't take much more of this!

LEELA: Aw SHUT UP! i have done this pleanty of times...

AMY: Told you so, you know depth perception is needed to tell you how much farther we can go! CYCLOPSE!

LEELA: Do you have any gum?

you get where i am going with this. thing is futurama is dead, not coming back, and will progress no farther than the last episode where leela and fry fall in love, i hope, so we will never see Amy graduate and join the crew,

To be different, I picked Cubert. I never understood why everyone dislikes him so much. He does a great job of being that annoying little kid. Plus, Cubert v. the rest of the PE crew would have led to more conflict, and conflict = ratings!

concerning Cubert:
the good thing with Cubert is, that when he's around the crew don't fight each other but stick more togheter as a group agains Cubert...so Cubert wouldn't be that bad eighter...

I don't know about the short red head smart ass fat kid. i saw a clone of my own, and i only like the part where he was critisizing the crew, so leela goes to slap him and falls about six inches short and only hits air. i thought that was funny, but otherwise one or two episodes is enough. it is just like the "we need more scruffy" thread. too much ruins it for all.

"future stock" was almost too much scruffy, although having him randomly come in during an episode at a critical point when the crew need a sollution and then giving that solution making himself seem all smart, then he dissapears for the rest of the episode.

just like that garbage man from dilbert, man i loved that guy, especially the wormhole episode that had stephan hawking in it. FUNNY!

Probably Farnsworth. He and Leela make a really good team, as seen in TMLH and "Roswell That Ends Well".

But he is the owner (or used to be, until the stock market lured him in with it's promise of fast money, the fool) of PE, that's why he hired people to do the dirty work.

The other three, Amy, Zoidy and Hermes, is the reserve crew. We saw them take over in "The Cryonic Woman" and Zoidy replaced Leela in "The Birdbot of Ice-catraz". To make them go on regular trip, would be a horrendous mismanagement of company resources. Imagine if something went wrong. PE would lose both it's crews in one incident. Not wise.

So in conclusion, probably noone.

Although having Cubert around as a human punching bag would be fun.

I've hopped on that same train and gone with Amy, it was a close thing between her and Zoidberg though, but I like her to much, reminds me of Blackie Chin from "Miss Dynamite".

I should think that Amy will work, hell fry works, maybe just not as well as Leela. Could add a new source of destruction on missions.

FRY- messes up with stupidness
BENDER- Messes up with Evilness
AMY- Messes up with clumsyness
LEELA- Fixes, but also messes up because she is an emotional basket-case (too harsh? i don't care)

the new futurama crew, now with 25% more Messing up than the other leading crews.

I voted for Amy. It'd be great when she would mess things up with her stupidness! Farnsworth is a close second, but the reason I didn't pick him is because he's perfect as a grumpy, senile professor.

I had to go with Zoidberg, though. At least he does some work. (He doesn't do it well, but hey, we're dealing with the crew from hell here, so we might as well add in a doctor that matches the rest of the crew.)

That was from the episode where Fry Bender and Leela were fired. i think it was called the Cryonic Woman.

a useless episode in my opinion, could have had a slight shippy note, fry going out with his old girlfriend and there could have been some kind of a jelous leela thing there, but no, nohting really happened in it. no plot advancement, nothing. not even all that funny. still better than lobstertainment though.
