Why does so many of you all hate Zoidberg

IE-Disolves into something that gets hurt all the time and does stupid things.

I dont hate Zoidberg at all. I never have. He's really funny and innocently stupid. The show wouldn't be the same without him.
I think he's a great character

my cousin, who is about 5, screamed in fear at the end of the "Fishful of Dollars" episode where zoidburg goes crasy, make lots of weird noises and then zoom in on his iris.

I find Zoidburg really, really funny, although I certainly think that whole episodes based around him tend to be weak. He's great for one liners.

i agree Zoidburg is not funny when the episode is about him he is only good at oneliners

I think Zoidberg is funny as well, and "Why Must I Be A Crustacean In Love?" was very funny.

Besides, the series has repeatedly shown Zoidy in his moments of popularity:

Zoidberg: Yes! Now Zoidberg is the popular one!"
Farnsworth: "Yes, yes. Let's all talk to Zoidberg!"

zoidburg is sometimes too pathetic and eps that revolve aroung him usually get boring because your sick of him being such a loser.  He is great at one liners though.

Your sisters 17 and Genuinely afraid of zoidburg?  sad.

I don't know. "That's Lobstertainment" was definetely below average, but both WMIBACIL and "A Taste Of Freedom" was pretty darn great. So far Zoidy is 2 for 1.

Plus he were out of control in "Roswell That Ends Well".

He IS a freak. "Zoidberg is a weird monster who smells like he eats garbage, and does." And he's damn proud. But if you're going to look for freaks in Futurama, why single out Zoidberg? Hell, most of the show's characters are freaks. That's what makes them special!

sorry i havn't seen "Taste of Freedom"( ) but if i remember correctly in WMIBACIL we witness the start of zoidburgs extreme poverty and loneliness.  Incidentally  that is one of my fave eps.

I think Zoidy is good for a minor character- HE IS DAMN FUNNY!  Still, I don't like most of the eps where he is the star, because you don't see his comedy as much.  and besides, comedy's the only thing good for him. 

And Ben, from way back, I'm a shipper, but I love comedy just as much as romance.  Ask anyone!
