Personally, I really liked the little cute Neptunians, and wish they would show up in more episodes. Anyone else out there agree? Oh and for some reason I just realized that Elzar is a Neptunian...but missing is his "significant other..." I wonder where "he" is?

There are many Neptunians they ran the spa in Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, and apeared in a bunch of episodes as background filler.

Yeah, the Neptunians, they're cool   :)
It seems like they're important for several DOOP worlds - being chefs, elves, youthasizing-assistants, etc ...
I'm still wondering if they are really from Neptune or are they just called Neptunians but have nothing to do with a certain planet of the Sol system.
A thousands miles deep hydrogen/helium athmosphere/ozean, 10,000 miles/hour storms and below - 100 °F doesn't makes Neptune a good place for your next Summer holidays. Or even life generally.

Much like Mars (mightiest of planets!), Neptune has probably been terraformed, and made habitable. That goes for most of the Solar system, otherwise how could Zoidberg, Amy and Fry survivie on Europa. Not so much the freezing temperatures or the lack of an atmosphere, but more the lethal radiation from Jupiter, that would kill unprotected humans in minutes.

At any rate the Neptunians live on the frozen polar caps of Neptune, and it looks quite pleasant, so yes I think they're native to the planet.

Maybe David Cohen will come with a scientific plausible explanation in the season 3 audio commentaries.  ;)

Yeah I also just noticed Elzar was a Neptunian.  Guess the ones in Tales of Two Santa were what happened if they are mal nurished, but the ones that are nourished turn out to be like Elzar.

In A Tale of Two Santas, when the robot Santa is buried and the little Neptunian kicks him in the head. That was cute and cloolsome.
But it would be fun to torture a Neptunian. Tie it up at beat it incessantly with a wooden spoon until it is screaming in pain, yeah...that would be good.

Gee, also just noticed? Are you aware this thread started over a year ago? Pfft.

I can't say I'm a huge fan. The pig noses are cool though.

In my fanfic Cold Diamonds (which is at TLZ) Bender tells Fry, "Nice knowing you, chump!  Looks like they're gonna cut you open like a dead Neptunian!"

There was a Neptunian reference in my fanfic.

Neptunians rock. The four-armed animation is done really well, and it makes sense that they would be in all corners of the galaxy, doing jobs where four arms would come in handy.

Maybe the Neptunains evolved on Neptune's moons, and call themselves Neptunians collectively. There could be Galataen Neptunians, Protean Neptunians, and so forth.

I love Neptunians. So cute but they eat every single thing almost. I want more Neptunians please! Even though the show is cancelled.
