...is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that Morbo is the only member of his species that you ever see.
probably funnier if theres only one though...

I haven't noticed any other members of his species, but I'm pretty sure they exist because he often threatens Earth with an invasion of his race  :)

Hmm... could it be Groening's idea for a movie?

There would have to be more of his species somwehere. Maybe not on earth but there would have to be some in the universe of Futurama.

i assume there's more. one would think Fawn and the kids are the same species.

Morbo: "i gave the cookies you made to Fawn and the kids."

That really is a good question, cause he talks about his race, but they never show them....  That might be a good movie seeing the invasion of earth, but isn't that getting into the Omicronians turf?

Yeah, winna's right. If Morbo's people invade, it wouldn't really be anything new.

Another question: is Fawn Morbo's wife, or just a friend?

He seems a lot friendlier to Fawn (in Venus' quote above) than he does to his own mate: "I WILL DESTROY HER!!!"

i always assumed she was his wife. That's why he said Fawn and THE kids rather then Fawn and HER kids. It implies that the kids are his.

Not neccessarily... it could just imply that he's really good friends with her.

Isn't Morbo's family supposed to be "belligerent and numerous"?

Kryten, yes they were when Nixon asked after them (after all, Nixon is pro-family).

We just don't know where they are.

I'm not quite sure if this isn't Morbo after all, but there is a Morbo-like creature singing "won't you take me to funky town" in "Amazon woman in the mood".....

Anyway I'm new so hello everyone...  :p

In that comic with this Newbees you can see at the Wong Ranch following people --> Inez Wong, LaBarbara Conrad, one of Mom's sons (Igner?), Hattie, Leela, Zoidberg, Monique (from All my circuits) and also a green skinned female alien who could be a woman from Morbo's species ... Maybe ...

Well Morbo IS always talking about dooming Earth (gotta love doom!) so doesn't that mean he has some sort of army to back him up, or is he just extremely pessimistic?

it would be funnier if he were the only one, because when he says stuff like 'My species will destroy you all!', he is actually the only one.

I think the aim of Morbo's threats is only attracting some attention - to make more people watch that TV programme, he works for - he certainly doesn't want to destroy people, paying him for his job. Maybe the producers even tell him to behave more violently in order to make their ratings go up.

I think Morbo is a spy on earth who has just happened to get a "good" job in broadcasting and there are no others because they don't want to blow their cover but soon they will invade earth. Muhahaha!

I hope you haven't forgotten that his family is numerous? (A head in the polls)

In any case, we finally saw his wife in "300 Big Boys," so we know he isn't the only member of his species, at least.

I like the idea of Morbo sitting at his news desk after the broadcast...all the lights are dim, and all you see is the outline of his big head:

"i will destroy you" <sniff>

poor Morbo...
