I think I'd be Leela, purple hair is no problem for me (rebel stage, don't go there) and the one eye depth perception thing is also no problem (I wear glasses so duh).
She's had a tough childhood but she pulled through and made something of herself (like me sorta). She's got kickass fighting skills and she a space pilot (Which would be cool). She's also got a cute pet (Which I want) and a cute, loyal, dependable guy after her (Which I would kill to have and I would sooo have given in by now and started dating him).

I would totally want to be LEELA. She's pretty, strong, has an attitude, she's the captain of a spaceship, she has one eye which makes her ever cooler, 'cause she is different, and the coolest guy EVER has a crush on her. I love Fry. Who doesn't?! AND her hair is purple! =)

Fry would be great, although you'd be moderately poor, and an idiot.

Bender would be the greatest to be! No goddamn emotions, drink tons of beer, score with hot robots, have strechy arms, be able to bend unbendable girders, deattach arm pieces, steal stuff, wipe memory, and live until being broken. That'd a good life.

Leela I wouldn't like to be, not many people would like you when you are a kid.

Zoidberg... although the ink pouch looks great, he's just too poor.

Farnsworth is too old.

Hermes would be great! He's a JAMACIAN BUERACRAT for god sake.

Amy would be good, be very rich.

Zapp would be fun to be, until you blow up doop.

Kiff would suck, you'd have to do everything for Zapp.

In the end, Bender wins. Hooray for him!

Edit: Ok fine.

Scruffy would be awesome, after Bender and Hermes.
