The zapper for me-what a life!! i could keep making mistakes and having terrable chat up lines-but it still turns out all right! Plus I could walk around half naked most of the time! And, if that was not enough, some fantastic laws are named after me!

I would like to be Fry.  For the same reason as Killerfox, having a robot friend.  I always have a discussion with my friend, S14 Nemesis, about how great it would be if Bender was in our crew.

I, like SpaceCase, find Leela most compelling. I would like to be a character like her.

She is a compelling character and kung fu is cool, I'd get to pilot a spaceship.

Kif. He's competent, friendly, have a cute girlfriend (who happen to be loaded) and have a cool job. Apart from the Zapper, he has the perfect life going for him.

Leela is a good choice. Intelligent, pasionate, friendly, willing to use violence, spaceship captain, arcturan kungfu, etc. What's not to want? Unfortunately, I think most of the first couple of days will be spent in front of a mirror, or in a bedroom somewhere.

I couldn't decide between Leela, Fry, or Amy.  On the one hand, Leela is smart, sexy, competant, and deadly, yet not TOO perfect to be unbearable.  One eye?  No prob. Given her piloting and martial arts skills, clearly depth perception is overrated.  Plus she's my gender, and I could make Fry's dreams come true.   

OTOH, Fry gets to live his fandom.  How many people in all of time and space get to do that?.  :awe: (well, there SHOULD be a smiley for that... )

On the third hand (assume I'm a Neptunian amputee) Amy is ALSO my gender, and I could stand being cute and rich, competant (though not deft), sexy (though not deadly) and I'd also have a thoroughly sweet, desperately adorable alien boyfriend.   

In all cases I'd get see the wonders of the cosmos and experience virtual reality for real and be amused by/hang out with Bender - as well as hanging out with whoever of the three I wasn't being.

Sooooooo...I finally picked, but it was more of a six of one/half a dozen of the other/three pairs of the other other thing.

Easy one for me: Fry B.  Of course, I'd call myself Fry 1, or actually Philip J. Fry of the Fighting Mongooses. Can't imagine anything more satisfying than being happily married to a red-headed Leela. I might be dumb as a box of rocks, but they'd be happy rocks! After a while I'd probably get smacked for suggesting that she try dyeing her hair purple "you know, just for kicks."
