i would have thought Peg Bundy... interesting http://www.canoe.ca/Television/dec27_katey-sun.html

its towards the bottom

Surprisingly, though, it's not Peg that elicits the biggest reaction from fans who approach Sagal - it's her voiceover work as the one-eyed alien, Leela, in Matt Groening's animated series Futurama.

"It's so much fun, doing a voice. It's pretty laid-back, and Leela is just this lonely little alien under this tough exterior.''

yeah its ironic how she would gain more fame for doing a voice on a show that had less air time than a show that probably appealed to more people. Both shows are great though. Btw, nice name. Blah =P

Yeah without Katey Leela would suck.

I mentioned this before, but in the Seasons 2 DVD extras there are some samples of dubs in other languages. Absolutely horrible.

I study germanish and downloaded "Xmas story" in germanish, Fry sounded like the proffesor and Leela sounded wiered too. But still i think hermies managed too keep his voice to the original. Good Job Hermies    :)

Forigen languages always sound strange on a show that you know as well as Futurama. To them the english voices for Futurama must sound strange!

Jesus: To a german ear, Hermes' voice is bad, because he has absolutely no accent. Same for Amy. Leela and Fry just sound bored and monotonous. The closed one would probably be Farnsworth.

PS: there are some samples of french and german Futurama voices on gotfuturama ("other sounds").

Does anyone remember if Sagal has a new project she'll be working in? I think I read about one of Lauren Tom, not sure about Sagal.

Ben's probably talking about Married with Children.  I wouldn't put it past Aussie TV to be that far behind.  ;)

Nothing beats the Simpsons in French. I couldn't even sit through one episode.

I was watching that last night, and I had briefly seen the show before. I never knew she was on it, until last night, that is. It looks nothing like her (she has this hair cut which layers all over her face), but that voice is absolutely recognisable! I couldn't believe it, and looked it up on the net to check! It's good to see her back in sitcom comedy!

Don't be like that, we know you guys love it. The fact that you're the only ones who love it is beside the point...

I didn't completely realize that was her on 8 Simple Rules, until everyone mentioned that just now.  I couldn't tell from how she looks because she looks nothing like what I would think like Peg Bundy, but the voice kinda gave me the idea too.  I'd think Peg Bundy would be her most famous persona though, that show was so funny.
