Billy West: Fry, Farnsworth, Zoidberg, Zapp, Smitty.

John Dimaggio: Bender, Flexo, URL, Santabot, Ignar, Elzar, Mousepad.

Tress MacNeille: Cubert, Mom, Linda, Tinny Tim.

Maurice LaMarche: Kif, Morbo, Calculon, Lurr

Which one do you like the most. I like both Billy and John they are both good at doing voices, John Dimaggio has done alot more than Billy but Billy's does a wide variety of making his voice sound different with the Prof. and Zoidberg.

They're all great voice actorsw, but Maurice is the one I like best. He really does a great job, with such diverse characters as Kif, Morbo, Walt, the Hyperchicken, Neutral Leader etc.

Ofcourse Billy's voices for Zoidberg and Zapp is hillarious.

There's something about Billy though. He did the voice for that energy cloud in LLLIS, and there were no special effects added to the voice at all, the entire effect he did himself.
Also there was one point when they were recording his voice and it sounded so abnormal they had to clear out the equipment because they thought it had gone wrong - no, it was all Billy again.  :D

I like all of there work though. I love it actually. I thought that John Di Maggio's practically impersination of John Goodman was sensational - I thought it was John Goodman right up till when his name wasn't actually shown at the credits...

I wouldn't mind being a voice actor, so they are all pretty much idols of mine.

Ditto.  On the DVD commentaries, JDM can do Billy's voices like Zapp, The Professor and Zoidberg.  Plus his laugh is like Benders.

He's a funny guy.

Katey Sagal fits perfectly in Leelas voice. altought she does one voice but she is so good that it is enough.

Plus she has the best singing voice of all the voice actors. and yes, that does include Lauren Tom.

Katey used to be an occasional backing singer for Bette Midler.  :) JFYI.  ;)

That's just it though, I find in a lot of shows that have voice acting required, there are some of the actors who to loads of different characters, and then there are some who only play one or two. Katey only really does Leela, Julie Kavner only really sticks to Marge, and the Bouvier family, Yeardly Smith only really does Lisa. But Nancy Cartwright and Tress MacNeille do many, many different voices. If goes back. Thunderbirds, seems an obscure example, but you do have David Holliday, who only really did the original Virgil, but you also have guys like Matt Zimmerman and David Graham, who did many. Even the Goon Show (1950's radio show - foundation of most British - and international - comedy you see today) is a good example. Almost all voices were done by Harry Secombe, Spike Milligan or Peter Sellers, but where Spike and Peter had many famous characters, Harry only famous character was Neddy Seagoon. Do you see where I'm going> - I'm just saying there's usually a pattern in shows like these.

They're all so great, but Billy West and John DiMaggio stand out. West does so many voices and no one can do Bender's voice except DiMaggio. NO ONE.

I thought Frank Welker did Slimer? Oh well, maybe not.

That is one thing, Frank Welker is quite amazing too, he can do all manner of special effects. Think about it, he was Fred in Scooby-Doo, and now also plays Nibbler and Santa's Little Helper, not to mention literally hundreds of other roles.

Billy West, because Zapp is included in his repertoire. Zapp Brannigan - funniest voice in the series.

Billy West does some really awesome voices, and it's amazing how unique and different each sounds. I especially love Professor Farnsworth's. Bender's voice rules, it has so much personality and character, and John Dimaggio has done a brilliant job of finding the voice of a robot, aka Bender. I was just wondering, does anyone know who does the voice for Roberto? His voice is amazing, and I was wonderng if it was a one-off by someone, or if one of the regulars did his voice?   :)

Theres this programme on Nickelodeon called 'Doug' and he does the voice for him. He sounds pretty much like Fry in that. But a little higher  ;)

I vote for Billy West, he's amazingly talented. But so is John DiMaggio. They all rock! But I'm gonna go for Billy West because of the range of different characters he does. If I wasn't told that he did other voices on the show, I probabaly wouldn't have noticed  :)

Maurice plays in an awful lot of cartoons and manages to sound different for every character
My votes goes to him

According to the capsule it was Dave Herman. The Voice Actor Database agrees.

Don't think I've done this yet: Welcome to PEEL, Kazzahdrane. Enjoy it here.   :) I love SSF, nice work you guys have done there.

Damn! Billy West does the voice of Zoidberg? I knew he did Zapp and those others mentioned but had no idea about this. Man that is some voice range! But just remember he didn't origianlly do the voice of Ren. Although when he did do Ren's voice, (after john k. was fired) he did an excellent job. Oh yeah I hear that they're making new Ren and Stimpy's so does anyone know if Billy West will be doing the voices again? He'll pretty much have to I think. I coudn't imagine anyone else doing Stimpy. It'd be like when they made new Buggs Bunnies with out Mel Blanc. Oh yeah I think that Billy also does the voice of the Red M'n'M in them ads (if anyone's seen em) but I could be wrong. So my vote goes to West but I'm sure you'd gessed that by now. Oh yeah and I have to agree that Zapp's voice is one of the funniest voices ever. Okay that's all from me.

I like Billy West.  To nail voices as different as Fry, Zapp and Zoidberg is remarkable.  Although Fry does sound a bit like Stimpy.  I can't imagine anyone else but Katey Sagal voicing Leela though, and is by far the best match for the character.  Therefore not needing to do any others.  All things considered Futurama cast their vocal talent very, very well.  Just think, you could be listening to Pauley Shore and Fran Drescher as Fry and Leela.

One thing about the casting of voices I heard. Way back in season one, Phil Hartman was originally cast to voice Zapp Brannigan and others.  If y'all don't know, he was the voice of the incompetent lawyer Lionel Hutz on The Simpsons.  Alas, hiw wife busted a cap in his head while he was asleep.  Phil Hartman would have been a great addition to the cast.  It is unfortunate that we would never hear Hartman's voice and humour.  I'm sure Zapp would be even more of a self absorbed oaf.
