Does Hermes live in Space

Forgive me if this has been discussed before.  In some episodes such as The Route of All Evil, Bots And The Bees, the 2010 X Mas special, and The Six Million Dollar Mon, it shows that Hermes and his family all live in space. 

Is that space house of his in NNY?  Or does he live in space and work in NNY?

I don't think it's in space, though. It's just in a dome and we only ever seem to see the exterior at night.
