Time for a dilapidated Fry ancestry timeline.  WOOT!

Best I could find.  Somebody else have anything more precise?

Was it ever established that Fry's kid with his grandmother was his father?  I always thought that the kid was his mother considering that they have the same hair.

Yeah, they kind of screwed up on that, but surname is paternal, and they did mention Fry's maternal grandparents in canon.

That family tree is a bit outdated. It's missing the Professor's parents and brother.

For the people saying Fry and Leela would have to be bad parents if they kept their jobs and let the grandparents raise the children, uhh, what century do you live in? It's the 31st century on the show so I'm sure there's a decent daycare somewhere in New New York if the Turangas are too busy with their non-jobs in the sewer. Mutant babysitter grandparents sound pretty awesome to me, though. Opportunities for 40% dog, 40% cat, 40% alligator pets abound!

Really, though, both of them keeping their menial jobs at Planet Express would totally be possible and would allow the kids to appear in non work-related episodes. Cubert could even babysit them on occasion.

Crocodile

Mybe the professor invents a device that let them grow older very fast(like the fountain of aging), I'm sure there'll be daycares in NNY... Tough I've never really seen one
Or they let nibbler babysit :flirt:

Just remembered some others to go on the tree: David Farnsworth and all the other ancestors mentioned by Hubert in ATPH (can't remember their names)

Yes. I'm going to be very anal about this. So, prepare for some chewing out.

  • The backgrounds to each individual square are completely unnecessary. Keep it clean.
  • If Leela is going to be included in the Fry family tree (I don't see why she shouldn't at least be referenced, considering how she was briefly married to Fry), then you might as well include her family by extension. That includes Turanga Morris, Turanga Munda, Leela's grandmother, Leela's great-grandmother, Amy and Kif's tadpoles, Kif, Kif's mother, Kif's father, Amy, Leo Wong, Inez Wong, Reginald Wong, and Cubert (by marriage). That's all I think; it's a lot, but not too terribly overwhelming.
  • If you do include Philo, Dean, and David Farnsworth, then it would be nice to have a severed connection with David Farnsworth and the human conglomerate formerly known as the Spice Grils.
  • Okay, let's make this criticism more constructive. I do like the graphic for the time rift to best explain why Fry can be his own grandfather.
  • I do wonder how, or if, Yivo should be included. He was married to everybody in the universe, including Fry. However, including "everyone in the universe" in a family tree may be too much, unless if you were going for the massive weed-bush known as carbon-based life's lineage.

Hm, I was thinking of chaging the background... Couldn't really find a nice one(what f I just leave it with just the image and an image border with the name under it)?
I'll put leela and the profs further ancesters in there too, but not yivo... Tough I could put an image of him in brackets/something just to mention him.

Thanks for the commentaty!

I would like to mention a few more details that need changing, but I don't have the time or concentration to write them out at the moment.

Umm, Frida- the Spice Girls marriage was in an alternate future, and the Cubert marriage was in a previous timeline (not the current one), so I don't think they really count.

And adding the Turangas and the Wongs would mean it isn't really a family tree of the Frys anymore. If you go that far, it's better off being called "The Futurama Family Tree".

hey, I like that idea! Let's make a 'FUTURAMA' family tree:D
Tough that'll take quite long, I have a whole vacation to do so. Would you people help me by reviewing my tryouts?:)
