I picked the end of Bendless Love--if that's okay with everyone* Amy: "No, Bender, the other way!" Bender: "I like him better this way!" Professor: "I'm sad now..." Leela: "Oh, it's fine." *even if it's not

Did you just say I like Bender less than other characters.... because I like other characters more than Bender? Astute observation. Bender is a shallow character. I wouldn't get rid of Bender, but I think when 1/2 the episodes in a season are centered around him, it's overkill. Bender is too uncomplicated to be a good choice for the series's main character, I think. Which is what he is, basically.

I have the absolute opposite opinion than you. I'm sorry, I do not understand what you are trying to say. Please restate or heavily edit. And yes... I don't think a one-trick pony like Bender should be the main character, because it gets repetitive. For example, through most of A Pharoah to Remember, I wanted to smack Bender in the head with a metal Louisville Slugger. Bender being selfish and rude gets old when it's the main point of the series. And Bender also has no character development. Fry and Leela mature and change and learn. Kif and Amy have a relationship, minor characters though they may be. With Bender, there is no change from episode to episode. He's funny, but I can't stand the number of episodes that focus entirely on him.
