Friender is probably the best.

Funnily enough, neither Fry nor Bender have an i in their names.

Also, I have to say I don't really like the "character" Frender, it just feels sort of fan service.

I disagree. I found the Frender scene(s) absolutely delightful.

Bender is probably the best. He's cheeky, hilarious, shallow and hurtful, but he's also quite a feeling character.

And Super King WAS "the best one of the three"

My fave is probably Fry. His frighteningly single-minded unshakable unsinkable love for Leela just endeared him to me. He gave the show its heart.

The pain monster sure is one of my favs. Also a character well underrated (e.g. I couldnt find him as a profile pic). He might not have much on-screen time but his concept is sound and he delivers. Yet covid postponed the Tax day from 15th april to july 15 - posing the question whether that means more or less work for him?

Just as important to note is the Being of inconceivable horror. They own the milky way but almost nobody takes that into account in their daily decision making. Or did ebay in the end fail to accept their choice of payment? What were their long term motives? And did they/she/he chose the name willingly or was it given to them by someone else?

Another all time fav. is Mr. Peppy, also due to his unlikelihood. That innocent bone vampire was really lucky that leela had a bone in her froot cup  Potentially provoking a vegetarian/vegan dispute whether eating bones will clearly make you a carnivore..

Another top 4 for me and secret number one is Lrrr. Just everything makes him awesome, his emotional imaturity, his love for animals and his gorgeous palace which leaves room for exactly one 15inch tube TV. If anyone is up for travelling to the actual star system omicron persei to check if he's there I'm all in :]

I doubt that there would be much dispute.  I don't think that there are many vegetarians or vegans (or anyone else, for that matter) who think that eating bones doesn't makes one a carnivore.

It was not a totally serious statement, and I'm aware that gelatin is not considered vegetarian. looking at the age of the series any kind of discussion would have been settled long ago anyways. I was just referencing the fact that carnis refers to 'meat' and carnivore hence to meat eating - and that definition has been used by 'vegetarians' to argue that eating fish is vegetarian as it is 'not meat'. However there are herbivores that consume bones which are nevertheless considered herbivores https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osteophagy and it was still quite irritating when I first watched a deer eating a bird.

Vegans won't eat it, but I don't know if most vegetarians are that strict.  I suppose it depends on the reason for their vegetarianism.  I know that the Church ruled that eating gelatin doesn't break abstinence from eating meat, so you can eat all the Jell-O that you want during Lent.

I've met people who call themselves vegetarians, but still eat fish.  The correct term for that is pescatarian.

Well, if you've got a calcium deficiency, you have to make up for it somehow, and most animals aren't picky eaters.

I'm obsessed with Ruth and Esther.  I've actually drawn a ton of art of the two of them from fashion illustrations of them in various outfits to comics to storyboards.   They are just so fun to write for and so fun to draw and I even have started figuring out how I could make posable action figures of them that I could dress up and use in stop motion films.   They also remind me do much of my female relatives that they're super easy to write for.

I'm surprised no-one has made the obvious joke:
The "Welcome to the world of tomorrow!" guy is the GREETEST because he does the most greeting. *gets tomatoes thrown at self*
