Bender is huskier now, but it changed during the original run too. Roberto sounded a bit different recently in Law And Oracle. I dunno what happened, maybe they got to them! ...

You're right. Bender's voice was different in season two than it was in season 1. What gets me is HOW DIFFERENT it is now from what it was even in the movies.
How...

I can actually do a pretty decent ORIGINAL Bender's voice, "Kill all humans. Kill all humans."
"Fry, I was having the most WONDERFUL dream!"
"Hey, sexy mamma, wanna kill all humans?"
I don't know if you can tell this, but we can't hear you saying these things through PEEL. I think it's pretty obvious that the voice actors, having aged 10 years, have probably experienced some changes in terms of their vocal flexibility and their voice acting. Not quite as drastic as changes inspired by puberty, but, they're all getting older. All of their voices have probably gotten a little huskier. Only a little though, everyone is still very recognizable.

Bender's voice sounds really weird in 'Law and Oracle' when he says:
'Here's your damn peanut butter and jelly sandwich!'
Kind of raspy.

I don't mind the changes in the voices. I only don't like it when it's drastic or when they change voice actors. If you think about it, it's been ten years. Not only have the voice actors aged, but technically I guess the characters do too (although that's talked about in another thread), so if you want to get technical, I'm sure their voices would get a little raspier.
But honestly, I don't mind.
