I think leela's dad is my favourite. He is pretty funny.
Leela's Mum: Now hold on Leela, maybe this shock collar is good for you. Men like a woman who is not shoving their head in a car door all the time.
Leela's Dad: She's right, that's what first attracted me to your mother, ahahaha.

Yeah, he's great. He's written with typical 'Dad' jokes that are supposed to be corny but are usually hilarious.

Yeah i actually think that the typical 'dad' jokes that are made by Leela's dad (and sometimes amy's dad) are better than most of the ones in "The Route of all Evil" and "Bender should not be allowed on tv". Also another two characters that i like are Ruberto and Hedonism Bot.

Irrelevant? They were used for the important plot device! To get the Zookeeper to know who the superheroes were!
That sounds pretty relevant to me.

Roberto? Yes, hedonism bot? God no
Not only 'yes' but I'd vote for the entire Robot Trinity: Hedonism Bot, Calculon, and Roberto.

I have to agree. Morris: "No beer until you finish you're tequila!"

I'm a fan of all the, like, less-than-dynamic duos in the series:
-Lrrr and Ndnd (I love all the fighting in "Spanish Fry"--"For the last time, I don't like lilacs; your first wife was the one who liked lilacs"/"She also liked to shut up.")
-Linda and Morbo (Their intellect-imparied newscast in "The Day the Earth Stood Stupid" is great, but they also work well as separate characters (Linda is funny in feminista mode in ItWGY, and little touches like Morbo telling his wife that he will destroy her in "Three Hundred Big Boys" are chuckle-worthy).)
-Munda and Morris (I really hope they're used more in the upcoming season, because they're funny and it's nice to see how they interact with Leela.)

There are far too many great secondary characters for me to choose from, but I have to agree with everyone who mentioned Leela's parents. It's strange to think that, not including the movies, they are only in three episodes (well, four if you include their appearance in "I Second That Emotion" ), since we get with a relatively small amount of scenes a good look at how naturally funny and nice they are. I do hope that we get to see more of them in the new episodes!

5 speaking appearances in episodes, two non-speaking.
Which episodes were they? I can only remember them in three episodes (apart from the movies). I think the orphans are good characters too.

Holy man nobody has said Beelzebot? He is hands down the best (pun intended)! Those orphans with Bender are pretty special too.

I'm counting the movies, they were in Benders Big Score and Benders Game and were in the huge crowd at the end of WGY.
