Yeah the LiuBot:
"You're cute" - "you're cute" - "you" - "you" ...

EDIT: I forgot to mention my best/worst choice.

Best: John Goodman  Santa-bot
worst: Beck (I like his music, but he sucked in BITW)

Worst things first:
Pauly Shore.

Now the good things:

Sigourney Weaver was great.
Lucy Liu was simply cute.
and
Jonathan Frakes' cameo was just hilarious.

I still think that Pauly Shore was used rather well.  You weren't supposed to like him.

On the other hand, Rosanne added nothing at all to the episode that she was in.  Not only could her part have been played just as well by anyone else, but it could have been removed entirely, and the episode would have been just as good; better in fact.

Yea, Rosanna defines things as a hologram in the future. I think she defines 'Ambergris' for us... and Futurama, and Idiot.
As pointless as it was I still like Rosanne, that show is funny!

You a little out of it? in the earlier seasons, its humor was edgy and original. was pretty popular and pretty good. not too many Rosanne liking peoples on peel, but that's more of a taste thing (I think).

Worst: Pauly Shore. He was brought on the show about a decade after everyone stopped caring about him.

Best: Beck, John Goodman. I thought Beck was pretty cool and was a good sport at getting his musical style ridiculed.

It's extra hard to have guest stars play and spoof themselves rather than just have voice overs for other characters. But when they pull it off, it's just the best.

Stephen Hawking was cool. I liked how he kept shamelessly taking credit for scientific discoveries/inventions. Pamela Anderson deserves credit too, "...he doesn't know I won an Oscar?!Crap!".

And yeah, I guess Pauly Shore did a 'good' job since everyone finds him annoying. Roseanne was just plain annoying...

I'm suprised almost no one has said Claudia Schiffer, it was probably the most pointless appearnce ever someone like Beck or Lucy Liu were actually involved in the plot and had a purpose for their appearnce and there basically there instead of the writers coming up with an orginal Folk singer character or actress which might not have been very funny. But with Cluadia it just added absloutley nothing which even Pauly shore and Roseanne did a little. I cant even rember what episode it came in I just remember it was season 2.

The best I'm going to have to give to Dan Castlenetta.

She was in "a head in the polls" a head in the headmuseum. And as Ekarderif said, she only had one or two lines, as I remember correctly, in comparison to Beck and Lucy Lui having 2/3 of an episode.

Best: Hmmm... The obvious (Dan Casnastinanellama and John Goodman, of course), and for some reason Rich Little. He always makes me laugh. (Honourable mention to all the guest stars from AOI1 and WNFHGB)

Worst: Pauly Shore, for sure... by far the worst of the self-played.  (honourable mention to Roseanne and Lucy Liu)

Best: Dan Castelleneta and Sigourney Weaver (She really gave a great performance)

Worst: I personally hated Al Gore's second appearance. The first time was funny, but the second time was kind of... meh.

Second.

Simply the worst guest appearance in Futurama history, and even gives some Simpsons guest stars a run for their money!...

I don't know, Otis. Roseanne was bad, but she wasn't as bad as, say, N*SYNC. Of course, nothing is.

Yes, she was.

N*SYNC may have been typical of the pointless celebrity guest stars on The Simpsons, but at least they were made fun of somewhat.  Roseanne was in an episode with a whale, and yet, no one made the obvious comparison.

I liked the idea of Fry downloading a celebrity into a robot, but Lucy Liu probably wasn't the best choice for the role.  Then again, she wasn't the worst possible choice either.

I loved Beck. There was plenty of self-deprecating humor in his lines ("What's that song about...?" ) and unlike "I Dated A Robot", "Bendin' in the Wind" revolved much more around a "Futurama" character than a guest star. "IDAR" seemed nothing more than a flimsy excuse to get Lucy Liu (whom I generally like, by the way) on the show. "BITW" had a far more solid and entertaining story and was about Bender; Beck was just along for the ride. It was clear to me whom the focus was on in each episode. That said, I didn't like "IDAR" much. It's probably the only episode that ever bored me. There was entirely too much celebrity ass-kissing involved, and I was disappointed by that.

Okay, that turned into a ramble. Point is, I loved Beck on the show.

Stephen Hawking, always a great guest star. Loved his spot on "The Simpsons", loved it on "Futurama".

Bea Arthur was fantastic.

My favorites include Dan Castellanetta as Beelzebot, Bea Arthur as Femputer (the "WHAT??!!" was the best line), John Goodman as Santabot, and Coolio as Kwanzaabot.

Some appearances that were good but too short to be a favorite were Donovan as himself and, yes, the Beastie Boys as themselves.

I can't really decide on the worst, but it's moving towards Al Gore.

BTW, if Phil Hartman had been alive to play Zapp, he'd have wiped out Dan, Bea, and John in an instant.  Phil, you are deeply missed!!!
