Probably a side-effect of all that highly-caffeineated coffee and Slurm.

Yup, I agree with you- he shows some pretty amazing leaps of intelligence that show he is not the idiot people assume he is.  His problem is that he cannot express himself because he is too impatient/hyperactive. I always thought he was ADS before the term ever came into being.  I just like to think that he will mature into a very cool guy, as per BBS.

And @ Ralph Snart with the quote "Still, I have to take exception that somehow it's humorous to state that a guy isn't a great lover while nothing is ever said about women being being less-than-fantastic.™  Interesting thought there since so much of the media focuses on the guy's point of view.  It actually is a disturbing thought in that most women (in the USA anyway) are taught to hate their bodies because they do not look like the anorexic fashion models that are the beauty queens.  That alone drains our ego and self pride that if we measure ourselves by Hollywood actress standards, 98% of us are considered too fat to be beautiful because we dom't have the bodies of 10  year old boys with large, surgery enhanced  breasts and ridiculously long hair extensios.  The thought that we have to deal with being "fat" when we are actually just being normal healthy women combined with the thought that we also are "bad in bed" I think would be  cruel blow to most women, who do not deserve it.  We have to live with the fact that we are "ugly" (even though we are not) by Hollywood standards, it is cruel to add to it that we are also sexually not satisfying- it gives us extra pressure to deal with... are we not satisfying because we do not have the desirable 10 year old boy body with the big breasts that the wealthy can afford since they can buy the fat reduction surgery and the breast enhancements that most of us cannot?  Just a thought, Ralph Snart.. I respect your views a lot, but most U.S. women are taught to hate themselves so much that adding in our sexual prowess makes it even harder for us to deal with the fact that we should not be obsessed with being perfect (the media tells us we should be...)

Just my view, of course.

Surely the possibilities are endless? For instance, by taking a few thoughts completely at random we get...

Ship Pilot 3000
Episode Two Nine: The Ship has Landed
I, Shipmate
Love's Ships Lost in Space
Fear of a Ship Planet
A Shipful of Dollars
My Three Ships
A Big Ship of Garbage
Hell is Other Ships
A Ship to Remember
Ship University
When Aliens Ship
Fry and the Ship Factory
I Ship the Emotion

and so on right down to...

Bender's Big Ship

Easy

[Edit- Bah! It seems coldangel_1 has anticipated me. :shakes fist:]

Song titles?

You Shippy Thing (hot chocolate)
Don't Ship Me Now (Queen)
The Ship (Fleetwood Mac)

Or Xanfor could just come up with something spectacular.

I gotta say that I just noticed your comment to me about some women who are less-than-fantastic in bed.  I will not include women that I hooked up with at places where alcohol was dealt in large quanities.

I will speak of the women who just lay there, not getting into the moment.  I'm not even going to include any kinky stuff, just plain vanilla sex (you don't want to bring out the handcuffs, whips and chains and other assorted good 'n plenties until after the third encounter  :flirt: )

Honestly, I've had encounters that were so lackluster until I would have gotten more enjoyment watching a rerun of the old Battlestar Galactic on TV. You know, at least breath or stop filing your nails until the encounter is over!   :nono:

I won't be presumptuous as saying "I'm fantastic so it was their fault", but I've had encounters with other women that were so fantastic until I'm sure that some seismograph in California was registering intense earth-moving actity somewhere in the USA  :D.

So yeah, I've already touched on the impossible body design that Hollywood and fashion designers seem to cling to is an impossibility for 90-95% of women to acheive.

The same is true with men - back when I did massive amounts of steroids and worked out everyday in the gym, I never developed the muscular body of body builders or the buff body that you see on the male stars of most shows - I was just a huge, six foot tall guy with every little definition to the muscles.  When I hit 245 lbs with a 32 inch waist, I was carrying so much weight on my frame that I would be out of breath with minimal exertion - things were a lot better when I dropped back to 230 lbs.

I do have to say that Lisa (my first love and my first wife) was very comfortable with her body and she taught me to feel comfortable with mine.  Needless to say, that comfort zone extended to our bedroom - let's just say we satisfied each other.

@Ralph: About what I said on the previous page; I wasn't being entirely literal. I was simply expressing my disgust at how many people expect sex as a prerequisite in any romantic relationship. It's the whole 'If he doesn't come up, then he's just not that into you' mentality. I'd rather go down with the shock value than be forced to live in a life as such.

As for everything you've said for the past three pages: Brilliant. Remind be to buy you a cyberbeer when the Internet goes virtual.

As for the next thread, I was told it was to be Ship Trek: Deep Thread Nine. Wasn't my idea, I think it was coldy's. Someone check UnPEEL.

As long as I see the word "Ship" in the title, then I will continue to post the best Fry&Leela art work on this thread.
