Ok so I really liked it BUTT they squeezed almost ever re-occuring character into the movie. I was disapointed that some made it in and that others were left out.

Even Headless Body of Agnu was there.

Left Out Characters That didn't even have a cameo in the background:

Calculon
Mayor Poopinmyer(No idea the spelling)
Space Chicken
Roberto
Mom
Wormstrum
Flexo

Who am I missing???

I could have sworn I saw Poopenmeyer (sp?) standing over a barrel fire with Judge Whitey in one of the ruined NNY street scenes, but maybe it was another character.

Aside from Morris and Munda, I don't remember seeing any of the regular mutants....

Better to have characters not appear than to have gratuitous Family Guy-style fanservice.

I'm pretty sure I saw Poopenmeyer at the wedding and I know Lrrr and Ndnd were there as well.

According to the commentary, you can hear the Hyperchicken when they disembark on Neptune, but I didn't go back to confirm.

Complete opposite of this thread's point: anyone else see the 5-eyed alien from Bicyclops Built for Two at LeeLars' wedding?

I did not, however, see Morgan Proctor.

I thought I also saw the Mayor at the wedding with a red 3rd eye on his forehead. Thought I saw Mom - at least her hair - in one scene. It will take intensive analysis on many computers by many nerds of backgrounds and crowd scenes before all are noted. Something to do until the next release.

I'll have to check for the Bank Teller who often shows up in restaurants.

I can't say I saw him, but I missed a lot of people in that crowd. Incidentally, I'm not the only one who saw the Number 9 Man, right?

ETA: Her!  I didn't see her.  Gawd, I must have been thinking of Al... who wouldn't have shown up to the wedding anyway (unless he wanted to lose a vital organ).

I agree with Kryten. I'm glad they didn't just force all the side characters just to get them in. I'd rather them have a reason to be there.

Only person I wish they had more of was Zapp. He's way too funny to be in for like 45 seconds.

    You're all forgetting
Boxy  :(

These characters appear in the 1st movie:
  • Calculon Already explained
  • Mayor Poopenmayer He's is at the wedding. Also when he's warming his hands with Judge Whitey when Leela saw his photo with Lars burning in a garbage can.
  • Judge Whitey He's warming his hands with Mayor Poopenmayer when Leela saw her photo with Lars burning in a garbage can.
  • Smitty Present at the wedding. Also when all the people is abandoning earth.
  • URL Also present at the wedding. Also when all the people is abandoning earth.
  • Wormstrum Inside the PE Ship when is going to Neptune.
  • Whale Biologist When the PE Ship expels all the people in Neptune.
  • H.G. Blob When the PE Ship expels all the people in Neptune (he looks kinda brown). Also in the 20 dollar bill from Fry of the future... in the past.
@Nixorbo: there's a lady with 5 eyes but I'm not sure if is the same one of the episode 'Bicyclops Built for Two'

@Officer 1BDI: I also saw the Number 9 Guy.

Two questions:

(1) Apparently the Number 9 guy is very important to the fourth movie.  Where the hell does he appear in the series?

(2) Does anyone else think that Lars Fillmore's last name is a subtle joke?  Makes me wonder what 'Lars' might mean...

I think it's a play on fill more jars, which is what Lars does.

Leo and Inez Wong at the wedding but their hats change colors during the scene.

Groening's and Nimoy's heads in jars.

Jackie Anderson.

The Donbot.

A Trisolian-type female appears on the Nudist planet beach.

Petunia.

The make-up lady from the department store.

1) ...He is?  Awesome!

He appears in background shots throughout the series.  In the past four seasons, he appeared in various crowd shots in the following episodes:

1ACV08 - A Big Piece of Garbage
1ACV10 - A Flight to Remember
1ACV12 - When Aliens Attack
2ACV06 - The Lesser Of Two Evils
2ACV11 - How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back

2) I thought there might be something significant about the name, but only because I associated
I also have no idea what "Lars" might mean, but I like Futz' theory.

I bet by the time a list is compiled of "sightings" or cameos in Big Score, nearly all of the recurring characters are in it.  I spotted a few from some of the lists of no-shows posted and I'm not very observant.

Now if we're talking about characters not having speaking parts, I missed Calculon and the Robot Devil. I also really wanted to see more Zapp/Kiff interaction so I wish they had bigger roles (Amy too).

I was a little surprised when in a "Episode" where Nibbler talks, walks up-right and saves the universe.(And 40% of Fry's rectum   :laff: ) that we didn't see Ken or Fiona.
I always thought they were funny, and I would have liked to see them in the movie.

But there are three more movies, so you never know.  :)

I wonder if the "^M" should be deleted. It more of a message if you flip it and put it at the beginning to read "M^....... then the 6 lines are all used and the code isn't 33% fluff (after adding 25% more to make the characters). Perhaps more is to known about the 5 years.

Even though you have to rearrange the letters and remove to characters that is awesome. Considering the trillions of combinations that code could make they have way to much time. I respect that.

^^ Yeah, someone's not going to like the DVD extras on BBS...

Still, I'd say linking the code to Lars is a coincidence. The code just looks like a mirror image  of 123456 in binary to me.

I just wonder why the writers did it that way. Changing characters to ASCII isn't a big whoop so I have to wonder why they used 6, 2 of which seem to be tacked on. Sort of like they wanted a "square" 6 x 6 matrix for some reason.

I tried the adding the 01 trick to the lines code top to bottom, bottom to top, and backwards and they appear to be gibberish (so far).

Actualy, my sister also thought that she saw Apu and Manjula, but I pointed out that Apu's face is totally different. A quick google search reveals that Apu's moustache is two little diagonal lines, while the head in the jar's moustache is a series of vertical lines. While the Indian couple sort of look like the Nahasapeemapetilans from the Simpsons, it's not them.

Ya know, it isn't supposed to be a portrait.  It's a frame from an animated film.  Granted some are off model and miscolored, but, at 24 frames per second the errors are nearly un-noticable.  Well, except for the people who live in here, myself included.  I did notice that in the head museum there resides one Eric Cartmans head
