Dwight for me. Not only an absolutely unsubstantial character, he also wastes Cubert's potential. The son of Farnsworth can work at the series if his annoying and know-all facet is exploited, but when he pairs off with Dwight, the result is ugly and tasteless.

Ironic really, cause there are only two episodes where he is an important character, namely "The Route of All Evil" and "Bender Should Not Be Allowed on Television", are both episodes I personally like, especially the latter.

Then again, I guess in the latter, Bender makes up for most of it, as the whole Dwight/Cubert/Tinny Tim story seems only to serve as a method of moving the plot along.

Speaking of Cubert and Dwight. What's going to happen to them if the events at the end of ItWGY result in their guardian and parents (respectively) becoming fugitives, on the run from the law, in some unknown section of the universe?

Agreed about Flexo, though. I, too, don't find him funny in the least.

Flexo was pretty good in 'The Lesser of Two Evils' but in 'Bendless Love' the joke surrounding him had become slightly old.

also I never got the point of the hediniousm bot what is he some ruler or something
hedonism is (to squeeze it down into a sentence) a philosophical ideal that life should be lived for pleasure and indulgence, which is why he ran around talking about how everything was so wonderfully decadent.

To be honest, I don't like The Lesser of Two Evils that much either. The Bender-Flexo storyline got old the second time I watched it. And it's a shame, considering that most of the other gags are brilliant (the Cop Department thing, Past-o-rama, the "feast your eyes on this!" scene, Fry and the radiator...). But a handful of good jokes isn't enough to build a good episode, especially if the plot is thin.

^ My one decent amusement-causing new character from any of the movies. Pretty much the only worthy newly-introduced personage.

Also, what the hell, I loved Lesser of Two Evils. But then I loved pretty much almost every single original episode.

I don't really nitpick when it comes to the episodes.            Part of that is no doubt due to having watched them as a Finished Product already, long after the series was already over.

Anyone who said Zoidberg should leave immedietly.

I cannot believe nobody has said Mom yet.  Easily the least funny character driven by stupid insults which only make me upset.

DOWN WITH THAT BITCH MOM.

Damn, I actually like Cubert and Dwight. Their episodes offered nice, down-to-Earth stories in S3 and S4. Plus it gave Hermes, The Professor, and Labarbara extended roles.

I actually liked the nudists as villains.

I don't want to see the Brain Spawn again. Not because they're bad but because I don't want them to become like the Daleks. They've served their purpose so I'm happy with the way their story finished.

Damn, I can't think of any other character I don't like (minus TBWABB but that is a closed story so I don't need to worry about). I think with the proper writing nearly any character can be entertaining.

I really don't like Cubert. He's an annoying little fucker. I can understand why he exists, and his existance would make for interesting plot twists, but he is just so freaking obnoxious that he ruins parts of episodes for me.

4th Guenther. I don't think more than a single one of his lines made me laugh.

I still don't understand why people find Cubert annoying. He only seemed annoying to me in 210, and in that episode the point was that Cubert is an annoying smartass. Subsequent appearances dropped that part of him in favor of pairing him with Dwight (which I like).

Oh come on, as far as unfunny cops go, Smitty and URL aren't bad.

Who then should be the pair of cops on Futurama? Mom and Nixon's head? Randy and the store clerk guy*?

Have Mom and Nixon ever been on screen together?  Seems like a slam dunk comedy-wise.

Also, a grand slam for evil.

The cops were sort of modeled on the ones from Sanford and Son, anyway.

Randy would probably make a pretty awesome cop, though.

I don't think so. The main joke of the Sanford and Son cops is that Smitty (Sanford) constantly corrects Hoppy when he tries to speak jive. Occasionaly, the joke is that Hoppy uses needlessly proper language, which confuses Fred, which causes Smitty to put what Hoppy said in Layman's terms. I don't see any of that in Smitty (Futurama) and URL's character.

Closest resemblance I see is the use of the name Smitty (and it's used on the "wrong" character, i.e. Sanford Smitty is Black, Futurama Smitty is White).

I guess so I just don't find any of the cop humor that great, especially the randomness of Colleen being a cop in BWABB.  I agree, they should make Randy a cop!
I would take more Cubert and Dwight.  And I know, I know they are not a giant part of the show, they just make me cringe, and not in the good way that Cubert is suppose to.

That was really my only character beef, I love mom, and am tolerant of Guenther.
