Ok, so if you saw "Love and Rocket" you noticed that the characters got Planet Express uniforms (a la Star Trek) and they wore them the whole episode. Now I may be wrong, but if the uniform thing stays what would you think of it?

I personally always wondered why they never had uniforms to begin with. I mean they are on the job so it would make sense to look like an actual employee. Discuss.

Maybe this was the first official diplomatic mission that the PE crew ever embarked on...Still didn't work though.

Based on the framegrabs I've seen, I'm glad they're back to the original.

It's a neat idea though. Maybe if they made some cooler uniforms it could work. Maybe something like the uniforms from "Enterprise" (again framegrab-oppinion).

And no velour, that'll just make the Zapper even more annoying when he's around Leela. Although she didn't look half-bad in a DOOP uniform.

Uniforms are cool, but I like them in individual outfits because it adds flair and variety.

I liked the gag where bender "pushes up his sleeves" though.  haha, he's a robot! His sleeves are metal arms!

I kind of like them, but they should only wear them sometimes...

They might be taken from 2001, but I still think that they're SeeD uniforms! And they should be personalized, like VF said. Give them sponsor patches for crying out loud.

i like the uniforms, but i like the original clothing better.
(+ i have only seen it from frame grabs, i haven't seen love&rocket yet.
when are they finally going to start showing season 4 in belguim?!)

but it is nice sometimes to see a couple of characters in other clothing for a couple of scenes.

for example: bender with pants , tuxedo.
amy with the green/orange sports thingy.
or like the hippy clothing from 'bendin' in the wind'

The uniforms are nice for special occasions (I enjoyed watching Amy zip hers up vewy vewy much, heheheheheh), but I say stick with the street clothes. Fry can't handle a uniform anyway; you have to iron it and wash it and it's just too much hassle. Besides, Zoidy ate his.

Nudity is a tempting option, but all-nudity all-the-time would steal the good clean fun from my most favorite pastime.

And she didn't look halfbad washing the Planet Express ship either.  ;)

After having seen the uniforms "live", they look a great deal better. Just remove the shoulder pads, and they look pretty cool, but I agree they should be reserved for official PE business (not daily routine jobs).

I've gotta agree with ya, I'm usually a Leela fan, but Amy was really working that mop. Hmm... maybe I should make an animated sig of that...    :laff:

Replace the mop with a celery?  :laff:

As a Leela-holic I would have loved to see Leela washing the ship, but I don't think it would fit Leela's character.

Speaking of Leela, nice new sig, cellery. Is she eating the celery, or talking to it?

Thanks Teral. She's just making a comment on it to Fry. "A Pharaoh to Remember" wasn't that great, but the slave outfit was killer!    :)

Edit: now that I think of it, the pose in the sig is similar to your avatar! Pretty cool.

Oh, YESSSSSSSS. She did indeed look fabulous. I knew Amy would have to be involved in the show's first inevitable cast-member "lesbian" suggestion, but naturally I always assumed Leela would be involved somehow. That came right out of nowhere. When Bender and Fry leered at each other, I almost ruined my pants.

Other suggestions: Amy and Nibbler "Coppertone" ad parody (Nib's goin' in for the rest of her bikini!) and Amy does a nude fan dance--with celery. Ohhhhhohoho, mama. Me such a perty dirvert.

The uniforms were interesting and fitting for the eps, but I like the orginial clothing better. I mean whats better than Leela in a tank top? ( Imean other than Leela without a tank top  :flirt: )

Leela in her bathing suit. Even John DiMaggio thinks she's adorably that way.

I'm noticing your welcomes have absolutely no variety whatsoever  :D  Sure you don't have a lot of time on your hands any more, but c'mon, you're starting to sound like a robot.  :)

Apologies for being off-topic
