Sure, maybe you should write a fanfic on it?

Maybe... though as a general rule I don't write things that don't have explosions and/or gun-battles and/or swordfights.

Did someone say Shippy Fan Fics? This one is mine and I hope it mildly satisfies both violent and shippy tastes. Enjoy. (for those who never read it) The second story is an Anthology.

Mmmhmm...

What about this picture? I always thought that Leela put her face awfully close to his. Not exactly shippy, but it proves that she at least feels comfortable being near him. Very near him.  :flirt:

I think it's behind Leela's. Leela is slightly closer to the camera.

I was always bemused by the emblem on Leela's Clobberella costume of a hand brandishing a rolling pin. Did she pick that? Or was it already on the costume (provided by Bender) to begin with? Either way, Leela being a progressive feminist, I can't imagine she'd be that thrilled by the image, being of a rather stereotypical housewife-ish connotation.

Perhaps she uses the rolling pin to clobber people with?

Yes I know... that's a cliche of womanlyness though. Which is the point I was making.

I dunno. Wouldn't using the rolling pin as something non-kitchenesque be symbolic of breaking the stereotype? *shrugs*

I dunno... the houswife brandishing the rolling pin (because she's always in the kitchen and that's the only weapon she knows to use) has long been a tongue-in-cheek image of female role archetype.

Arr. Well I've never really been fussed by the differences between the sexes and roles and all that rubbish. I'll be whatever I wanna do. Mmm, rolls.

What's wrong with being in the kitchen anyway...I'm always in there, setting my traps for unsuspecting prey.

Yeah, I noticed you love to cook. You casually make things that I wouldn't have a clue how to even BEGIN making.
I was meaning to ask why you never got into some manner of hospitality.

Cleaning and washing up are completly different. You wash up plates, you clean up whats left behind in the microwave.

I do not!
And I resent the implication. My microwave is home to a unique and diverse ecosystem; there are a number of new species of fungi found nowhere else in the world. To clean it out would be an act of ecological genocide.

I was just thinking randomly about Futurama and you know when we were talking about Fry and Leela's ages before, and decided they were both 29 by the end of series 5? Well in Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles, after they go into the Fountain of Aging and come out, Amy and Fry both comment on being a couple of years younger then they originally were which could mean that Leela might be a couple of years younger too though it's different for her because she was a different age when she jumped in. So maybe Fry and Leela are both 27 by the end of season 5.

Since the professor is about 160 years old, I'd say human lifespans are somewhat longer in the future due to advences in medical technology. Our terms of reference may not be applicable.

The prffessor's age is over 160 because at the start of TMLH he was 161 and when he came out of the Fountain of Ageing he said he was even older!

Bad news everyone (who lives in Australia)! Futurama will be taken off channel 10 as of Monday. The new night lineup will go something like
