Originally posted by Shiny: I like cold weather too, but I don't speak Celcius. [EDIT] I HATE this system. I lost my entire post - this is v2. Aaaaarrrrghh... what key did I hit ? I am going to rip it off and shove it .. tell you later where. CelSius... Ahaaa... so Shiny is not perfect as we all feared... No Celsius, perhaps no metric system...hmmm...(prudent confidence tentatively returning). Well I speak C, F, and K and I am as metric as Calculon's beloved one - so I guess everyone will be talking to Fry_B now ! (ColdAngel squirms in his sleep - 'Hmmmm.. mmmm I can feel a bid for ultimate attention, why not...') Shiny, may I suggest my solution to heat: I found a property on a mountain and moved on the mountain. It is always 3-4-5 deg CELSIUS (hehe) less than in the mortals' village at the botton of the mountain... Bwhahahaaa... (yes I send my winged monkeys to sour their milk and steal their children sometimes... what?? what's that, for Haloween? Errrr...yes I heard of it, in Simpsons I believe..). Still hot on XMas, but down there it must be hell... To drag this kicking and screaming onto some semblance of topic: Which kind of climate would people like to see Fry and Leela stuck together in? Definitely cold. Since The Sting is my preferred episode, I'll exemplify with the icy moon scene. Let the canon speak. Enjoy with the eyes of your mind, and tell me if this is not beautiful: [...The dream changes to the icy moon. Fry and Leela are pulled along in a sleigh by a woolly mammoth. ...] Leela: Oh, Fry! You must be alive; I've never been treated so romantically by my own imagination before. Fry: Here, take my jacket. You look a little cold. Leela: Thank you. It's all so beautiful. I forgot how many hundreds of degrees below zero it must be. I just wish I could convince the others you're alive. Fry: You can. All you have to do is wake up. (slightly edited) Every time I think of that scene I can hear the mammoth thumping and feel the magic in the air - and Leela's awe at whether this is real, and her realising that Deep Down she Loves Fry. [Sigh]. Magical. In a coma. Well... if I could die like this... Yes, I believe in blatant plot contrivance to force shippiness...so sue me.... Very confident... Amy was also confident when Bender threatened with legal action in XMas Story (hear-hear) - of course not for the same reason (hint to the audience: you'll need the DVD if you really don't believe me )

Ooooh...I love that pic, TLF. Now I have to jump over to your thread to read the story. What they would do in a small space, like that elevator ya got there. could very well be interesting. I have not read your story yet, so I don't know what you were thinking, but I'd say it'd bring them closer together. They'd have to learn to trust one another, and their abilities to help themselves. As seen in the pic, Fry would most likely be the one to calm the other down-as Leela is pretty hot-tempered and would probably try to do something irrational (try to kick elevator when there's no chance whatsoever) and Fry would have to settle her down. But Leela would be the one to find a way to survive if there was any hope at all. Fry probably wouldn't be sharp enough to pick up on stuff like carbon dioxide filling the room and cutting down the oxygen, while Leela would. In all, I'd say it would be quite an interesting peril....

Ummm... what happened to your bride, ColdAngel? Are you divorced now or widowed? Re fart in elevator: it's not gross, it's natural. Depending on who dropped it and what they had for dinner, the outcome may be different And CA, you're not an awful man, you're a natural Stez: maybe she will realise that, or rather she will realise that more - I believe she kind of knows that already. I believe in dangerous situations her love comes forward but then retracts - the same may happen here.

any1else; I wondered if anyone was going to going to comment on that I was originally thinking about putting a whole lot of graffiti in there. Something by Zapp, Bender and a random quote, but I didn't want to take away from the focus. I'm going to go update it now. Ooh, congrats... you know you waste too much time on here, you've over taken KKBF!
