As much as I want to say Fry or Leela..either one would kill you for not choosing the other.

And really, if you save Fry..so what, for him? He'd just have his life torn from him..again. What would he do? You're not helping him nearly as much as you think.

Perhaps, but doing so would give me the opportunity to study him and write angst-ridden fiction about his ordeal.

I never thought about either's unwillingness to abandon the other, though.  In that case, I'd probably save Farnsworth.

So Fry and Leela would just go back for the other, and Bender would just sink into a black hole of sobriety out of grief and end up in a suicide booth.

...so perhaps Amy?  So her parents would reward you?  No, she'd go back for Kif, and he'd go back for her. 

Hermes, cause he has a family, maybe...but he'd be a bureacrat without a job and probably jump off the tower.  Lessee...Zoidberg useless, Professor old, Zapp worse than useless...

...good Lord.  The only one you could really save is...Scruffy.
