Yep I agree. My fave episode combines both emotion, humour and the 80's into a tour de force. Can you guess the episode I'm talking about.

Does Happy Happy Joy Joy dance which just happens to be at the top of the page.

If you're talking about "Luck of the Fryrish," that's another thing we agree on, wu_konguk.  That's my favorite too.

Now in My opinion it is just a matter of time before they get together since it seems to be something that has been doe in a lot of shows. For exaple in Frasier in took seven series before Niles and Daphne got together, two before Aeryn and Criction in Farscape got together, Ryoko and Tenchi still have not but I think they will    (thats's my opinion others disagree now they swim with the fish's). My point is all these shows had hints of these potential relationships before they happened and the same pattern is beginning to emerge in Futurama. So those who ask the question why should really be wanting to know when so they can complain more. :

Thought I'd qoute this to get it back on track.

Personally I think that they are destined to get together, and it is only a matter of time.

I think their perfect for each other, by that I DON'T mean that they got a lot in common, they have somethings in common, (granted not much), but I think that together as a couple they would compliment each other well>

Fry helping Leela loosen up a little (lets be honest she is in need of it) and Leela being a calming influence on Fry.

For example I have few things in common with my wife, we like different music, different films, etc, etc. But there are a few things we both enjoy  :flirt:

If everybody only dated people who liked the same things as us the world would be a very dull and boring place.

Blimey! I did tend to ramble on a bit there .

Any way Leela n Fry forever ah

[ozmodia/]Damn straight Troy my man[ozmodia]

I agree with you totally, in fact yuo qouted me starting this thread. Fry and Leela would complete each other, removing each others faults.
The main arguments that have seemed to run through this thread is that Fry and Leela getting together would ruin the dynamics of the show. This is rubbish in my opinion. Like most things if the shows does not change it's ways it will become stagnent and die, i.e the whole Ross and Rachel thing it's just got old now. They have very talented writers , who I believe can make a relationship between Fry and Leela a workable plot. Destroying sexual tension is good because there are only so many jokes you can get out of it.

L&F forever

Don't know why i do it that way, maybe it's something to do with my subconcious. Anyway I was watching my DVD's yesterday and I realised, I might be abit slow, that they have been hinting at a relationship from the very begining. I'll have to watch more episodes to find all of the hints but hers a few (add any if you think I've missed them out.)

space pilot 3000:
For a person from our time Fry does not seem to bothered by Leela's eye and does indicate he is atracted to her.
Leela shows compasion towards Fry and removes her own chip.
The series has landed: Leela is the one who goes with Fry onto the real moon, she induges his childish side.

I recall her saying something like "What about Us" when Fry is leaving with Umbriel, call me mushy but I reckon she meant her and him rather than the PE staff in general.

Any one agree? /Disagree?

Those are all old. Fry is the one who is makes real attempts to be a couple with Leela. She rejects him all the time. After Parasites Lost they had the ep Time Keeps on Slippin' that makes it worse for Fry: "Fine, break my heart again"  :( The writers sure put out a lot of start and stops with Fry and Leela getting together. I guess that makes it more interesting.
