Come on, Slurms was no cowered, its not that he wanted to die. He just could not stay alive anymore. It was not his choice to die. He chose to help the planet express crew. He new that the slugs of Wormulan were dirt bags, so he made the ultimate sacrifice.

I don't think there's really much of a difference between "losing the will to live" and "wanting to die".

I was basically saying, if he wanted to die, he probably would have killed himself before hand. Instead, he died saving people. Dieing with purpose. I guess I did not explain myself.
