Hi,

I've been thinking for a while about a certain point made over a few episodes. I only have one point to make, so I'll get to it quickly.

In the beginning of the episode "Amazon Women in the Mood", Zap is singing Karaoke, the song he was singing was a parody, to some extent, of a song which I can't remember the name of at the moment. But basically, the song is about a man who meets a woman, falls in love with her, etc.. and then one night they are about to sleep together, and he finds out that she's actually a man.
Or something to that effect.

All he really did was change the name from Lola to Leela.

Anyway, can you see where he was giong with the song? He was about to say that she's a man.
Of all people, Zap would know.

And up until this point, we all assumed Zap's singing was the reason everyone ran away. Is it possible that they were running away because of Leela, or some mixture of the two?

Well, think on it. I might try going to look for some extra evidence.

(btw, I'm new and I didn't have time to read everything here, so I'm sorry if this has been brought up before.)

There is thinking about it and then there's overanalyzing it. There are no deeper meaning to the song, the joke is Zapp doesn't realise Lola is a song about a transsexual. For him it's a song about meeting a woman in a bar. Zapp is stupid like that.

Welcome to PEEL. Enjoy it here.

"Leela!  So it was you I was attracted to.  Oh god I've never been so glad to be beaten up by a woman."
