We all know Bender was built in America's Heartland (Tijuana, Meh-hee-koe) so why, when he was transformed into a human on tonight's episode, did he look Hitler's Aryan poster boy instead of a true descendant of the Aztecs and the Spaniards ?

After his binge, he looked more like the Michelin Man.

Stay Puft Marshmellow Man, in my opinion.  In the end does it really matter what he looks like?

You don`t know where his parents where from

his father could be a German can of beer , or his mother could be a german industrial bot that was working in tijuana...and, there can be mexicans with that appeareance isn`t?

Has it been implied that no white people are born in Mexico?  I would surely try to refute that.

...or maybe the Fansworth's machine has some bugs and doesn't connect the appearance with the place of birth.

Farnsworth machine is plenty of failures!

In AOI1 we saw many big mistakes, like Leela working in PE (when she didn`t know Fry or Bender....)

or Farnsworth giving PE to Leela (when he created Cubbert for that)

or Universe being destroyed ... etc

Yeah, really now, it's the What-if machine - it's not worth the gold it's made of!

C'mon guys, the whole "reverse fossilization" idea is hoo-hah anyway. If it worked as described, Bender--and the toaster--would have returned to the various partial sources of the minerals and metals of which they were composed. Human Bender, if the process was altered to convert metal to flesh and bone, would've died instantly from all the plastic, rubber, and other compounds that he contains which would've been unaffected by (reverse) fossilization.

BUT WHY GET TECHNICAL? Most of the science in "Futurama" is bullpoop; it's supposed to be. It's funny.

Bender turned into a white guy because white guys can act like that on TV and it's still okay. Woo! Woo! Woooooo! Wooo...

Some Volkswagens are made in Mexico. I think that alone justifies Bender's appearance.

Big white guys who party are "funny". Big mexican guys who do the same are celebearating their newest gang initiation. Got it? :nono:
