w00t!  Power to the Zapp Lovers!!!!!!!  TOTPD!!!

But since we're on the topic of Cubert-- Cubert is a smartass who only thinks analytically and doesn't like to believe he's wrong.  However, some of his quotes are freakin' hilarious.  "Let me introduce you to a friend.  His name is Depth Perception!"  That line, though I know it takes a swing at Leela, is still funny.  Not to mention... remember his lunchbox in TROAE?  You know, the one Brett held up?  It wasn't the Periodic Table lunchbox, either...     That was what got me to at least TOLERATE Cubert.

But that's the reason he kicks ass! He's a little smartass elitist who doesn't know the meaning of "take one for the team". He's always right and to him everyone else's opinions are wrong.

I did find him somewhat annoying when I first saw him. When I first joined the fan community, that's when I realized I was supposed to hate him with passion.

About Cubert, he's one of my favorite characters! He's supposed to point out the logical flaws in the show. He's also supposed to take jabs at the other characters' and their ignorance. He's not supposed to be a likable character. That's the funny part!

I like him. Kath Soucie's scream in A Clone Of My Own when Bender shocks Cubert is a classic

I just saw his intro episode again, and he isn't as annoying as I thought. I think after hearing negative things fo so long, the annoyingness was exaggerrated and projected unto my memory giving me a biased perception of him.

He was sorta annoying, but not enough to ruin the show, or even the episode IMHO.
