Is Zoidberg a cannibal?

In the first comic book "Monkey See Monkey Doom" at the end, when they killed the crab monsters, everyone fed them to Zoidberg.  Also, on "Bender Gets Made" Zoidberg's dinner was a crab.  And Zoidberg is a crab, so after seeing those, it kind of made me wonder if Zoidberg is a cannibal. 

Or maybe he became one because he's so poor, and he's desparate for a meal, perhaps?

Zoidberg is not a cannibal. In order to be a cannibal he'd have to eat other decapodians, which he doesn't. Saying Zoidberg is a cannibal because he eats seafood is like saying humans are cannibals because they eat other mammals.

at the time of eating the crab he thought the meal was going to be free and he could have had anything but he chose the crab

Zoidberg: I used to hang out here as a larva. It looked so much bigger back then. [A tiny shelled creature crawls out of the rock pool. Zoidberg picks it up.] Who's the tough guy now Vinnie?

Hermit crab - lobster, two different species.

Henceforth Zoidberg isn't a cannibal and must be acquitted of all charges.
