If Fry and Leela did get married and have a couple of kids, what would they name them?  I know this topic has been done before about what the kids would look like.

However, what about what Fry and Leela would name a son or a daughter?  If this topic has already been done, then I sincerely apologize.

Hmmmm... The name could be anything. But a boy would probaly be a fry but with 1 eye instead of two.

Enos for a boy.
Eyesha for a girl.

I dunno, its their desicion. Leela would probably go all soft and name it after a family member, and Fry would try and name it after his favorite thing/product, eg: Slurm...

Girl = Leela Jr.

I just wonder about the whole genetics of the situation. What if the kid had two eyes... but they were both as big as Leela's one eye?

And I bet Fry would name the kid after himself, actually. "Fry J. Fry" sounds like something he'd come up with.

Or Bender for a boy, and Flexo for a girl.

I'd say that if they had a kid, Leela might want it to have a name reflecting it's mutant heritage, and Fry would want to name it after someone in his family (maybe Yancy?).

They'll combine the two to form the name "Muncy."

No Freela! Genetics does not work on names. Naming a kid after yourself is very narcissistic anyway.

Yes, but someone else naming their kid after me isn't!

Gorky, dammit, Gorky!

Oh, wait...

(Seriously, though, I like Nasty's idea of naming a kid after someone in Leela's (very extended, I guess) mutant family, or Yancy. I kind of like the idea of people naming kids after members of their family (not necessarily themselves). In fact, both of my brothers were named after members of my family. I'm the only one with a reject name... (Actually, I like the "reject" name...matches my reject personality!)

I think that its quite dull and unoriginal to name a new born after someone in your family, especially if that name is the same as the fathers. The you get a Jr. bah.

I think they would name the boy after a Star Trek character because of Fry.

Some people ended up putting names. But that is true.

Also, while I'm here; I'm not really all for the crossbreeding names. I'd actually want to change my name if I was LeeFry or Turangip. The only thing that doesn't bother me that much is like calling them Phillip or Lilah in that way.

What would help me pick a name, is picturing the kid growing up and how the name would effect him. How it would sound when the kid was very old or a teenager and see if it works.

Ok no offense but, I'd hate it if you were all my parents. Do you hear yourselves when you say these names? They are -sorry but they are- stupid. I mean what's wrong with naming them a different name or a name of a realative? I'd rather be named Gorky then Freela or Eyesha. And killerabbit, I second with Teral.

BTW: Gorky, I'm not saying I don't like your name. It fits you. I was just saying it's better than some names people come up with.

I pretty much threw down "Muncy" and "Fry J. Fry" because I take nothing seriously in life.

Maybe if the series had kept going then they would re-visit "Universe 1" and find out that Fry and Leela had a child.....

Possible names: Hippopotamuslayer Fry, Cowman Fry, Xenoplatapuloosh or "Billy-Bob Fry the fifty-8 and a halfth"........ or Dillon!

Obviously, Fry and Leela are not "gun-tooting, pussum-eating red-necks."  They also don't eat possum.  I just think that in the interest of the show, the writers would give the kid a cool name.  Remember, these people aren't real!  Characters in a cartoon have no feelings!  I wouldn't give an actual kid an embarassing name.

I would name the child Xavier if it's a boy and Alyana if it was a girl.
Strange names, but consiering how the child will look with mutant genes mixed with the genetic make up of someone who's his own grandfather, they might be befitting.

ETA: I've got a new one. Helix for a boy. It's the name of the closest nebula to earth. (450 light years away)
