Actually, I meant Hepzibah from Starjammers.  She's a bit more anthropomorphic.

However, the Starjammers character is a direct homage to the Pogo character of the same name, so I'm going to give you full credit for your answer.

Wow, the topic of Cubert can bring up so much hostility in people. tsk tsk tsk.

And I'm going to take out that hostility on you right now. You've bumped at least ten threads since you've gotten here and added absolutely nothing new to the conversation. Cut it out, it's fucking annoying.

i neither respect nor hate cubert. if he had more airtime, he might just get annoying, but him popping up every now and then is quite ok.

Granted, the professor is cool...but at his current age.

The professor's behavior when he was Cubert's age was probably similar to Cubert's now.

I don't hate Cubert, but I won't say I like him.

How come Cubert seems nothing like the adolescent Professor?

Because while they are genetically identical, environmental factors also come into account. Given that the Professor presumably did not spend the first 11 years of his life in a tube this goes some way to explaining any differences in character/appearance.
