Why is the Robot Devil (Beelzebot, or whatever you call him) not on the list?  He's the only real robot of power in the entire show, and his return is near.

I've also got to give props to Dan Castenelata.  The Robot Devil doesn't sound like any character Dan does on the Simpsons, with the exception of the Homer screams.

No surprise that Bender is walking away with the prize; he's one of the best robots ever, and John DiMaggio is an amazing talent.  Maybe "best robots other than Bender" would be a better topic. :-)

Well, Leela was also Miss Universe, but somebody "changed" his mind. (curse you Zapp Brannigan    ) Sexiest female = Leela, and I'm sure other Leela-holics is gonna back me up.


To bring this thread back on topic. I like Evil Santa. John Goodman's voice was marvolous for that character. "You DARE bribe Santa?" LOL  Anybody know if he also does it in the new X-mas episodes?

Leela was never Miss Universe, Zapp simply got mixed up and said the wrong thing. The name in the envelope was Miss Vega 4, from th Paramesium homeworld, where brave troops are battling to exterminate the Human Race (Raging Bender, I think).

Given the choice, I'm sure that Zapp WOULD have made her Miss Universe in order to score brownie points.

Why didn't he keep his big mouth shut then? He said the winner was...Leela. She was crowned, congratulated, everybody cheered her, in short they accepted her as Miss Universe. But oh no, the Zapper had to screw it up.

But that still makes Leela a former Miss Universe in my book. Ah yes Leela
