Okay, something is weird about Zoidberg in this episode...his character design completley changes...

Okay, usually, when they show him without clothes on he has a kind of a shell...like, layers of man-boob type things...you all know what I'm talking about! But in this episode, he has a human-shaped body, it's completley flat, no shell thing at all...what's with that? If you don't get it, here are some links to pictures...

I've never really noticed that. They must have made a mistake.

Maybe it was just a joke to make him look like a baby or something because he's wearing a nappy (sorry, diaper or however you spell it for Americans!) isn't he.

Yup,  he's wearing a diaper and a cape so he looks like Nibbler. It's obviously a mistake, I just wanted to point it out and was wondering if anyone else noticed.

Well, Zoidberg has so many stages of growth (see TMLH), perhaps he changed between The day the Earth Stood Stupid and Roswell that Ends Well.

Nope, because we see him before that episode without a shirt on, like in Why Must I Be a Chrustacean in love, and some others

Maybe Bender just forced him so suck in his flabby parts to make him look more built and atheletic.

It's not just flab, his shell is ridged that that too. As are all lobsters.

I didn't notice that either.  Bender did tell him to suck in his gut at the competition, but he always looked that way in the episode.  Huh.

Just watching this ep again and I found something....at the start when Nibbler is falling down after biting the balloon, the shot just before he lands in the cream you can plainly see he is nowhere near the table....then the next shot he falls from directly above it....

I don't normally pick on editing mistakes but I just noticed it and had to.... :p

I still think it was just bender telling him to suck in his gut. I know we say Zoidberg like that before Bender told him to, but knowing Bender, as i personally do, then of course he would have told him to suck his gut in hundreds of times before. As for him having a hard shell, this is the future, so he probably has a softish shell or something.

With that crustacian I could open up the Gate of Kanesh.

But I need to make him softer... hmmmm

Well,if you remember in AWITM,maybe Zoidberg has two diffrent shells:

His normal,flaby shirt

and his fancy shell he uses to go at formal events.
