In The Why Of Fry, in order to obtain the Scooty Puff Snr and avoid being sucked into that parallel universe, Fry has to be sucked into the parallel universe and travel back in time to request the Scooty Puff Snr.

It’s a paradox of the stickiest variety.

Hey, great lengths must be made to obtain the Scooty Puff Sr.

After all, it is "THE DOOM BRINGER"!!!

They really love doing stuff like that, like Fry being his own grandfather, the crew having a box with their own universe (though thats not time),  that all I can immediatly think of.

"Ready for some safe fun?"

Scooty Puff Junior is the funniest vehicle in the entire show.

Yeah, Futurama has a lot of time paradoxes but if you don't think too much about them, which I don't, then everything's okay in the world.

Everybody always blames the wizards.

Don't blame the wizards, blame something quantum. I, for one, wish to point the finger at the Trousers of Time.

But whenever you see something like that, the wizards WERE responsible.. [professor] Pah! The Trousers of Time are a pipe dream! Shut up! [/professor]

Maybe in some  quantum-reality there's a Fry enduring endless renditions of "American Pie". And thanks to his sacrifice the Fry's in the other quantum-realities got the Scooty Puff Sr.

Ofcourse that only works if you believe in the theory Data told about in "Parallel"s.

Pffft, didn't your parents ever tell you never to trust a gay android?

I guess that explanation makes some sense though, that an action in one unverse can have an effect in another, isn't that basically the root of quantum mechanics?

I wouldn't know, the nerds in my class at technical high school would rather learn about astronomy than quantum theory, dispite my campaign.

But it is one of the theories for explaning the uncertainty predicted by quantum experiments, like Schroedingers Cat, called the many-worlds-interpretation.

Nobody knows, it exist in a state of quantum-induced limbo, neither dead or alive.

So, if we don't know for definite what the situation is, then all possibilities are true...
