I think that it's good that Futurama broke from the old sci-fi cliche of have aliens (even in cartoons) looking like people with make up (Star Terk is a good example of this.) I think that it is good to have a sci-fi show with proper alieny aliens in.
Anyone disagree with me?

Well, keep in mind that there's a very good reason that aliens on most sci-fi shows look like humans: they have to be played by human actors.  It's a lot easier to have non-humanoid aliens in a cartoon.

They still have a number of those Star Trek-ish aliens (martians, Zoidy's Crustacean pals, etc), but a lot of them are fairly original designs, for the reason David A said.

I'm glad that a show finally had the common sense to design aliens that wore clothes.
