Do you remember the episode where the crew went to Luna Park? There you can see something strange.

You see, one of the shuttles is missing. Maybe that's a reference to the space shuttle "Challenger" that exploded.

Hmm... I don't quite see the connection.  I think if it was a reference there'd of been a more direct hint at it.

Schwestar, you may have discovered something!
I checked the NASA homepage for details and found this rather interesting fact:

-There are 6 devices on this lunar rocket ride (with one missing, of course), and now guess how many Space Shuttles were built?  ;)

Check it out!

I know that you've seen it first, DerGeisler.  :p

But why does it takes top-nerds like us to discover such things?

Come on people, this relationship is just too obvious.

On the pic you see six space-shuttle like devices. There have been six Space Shuttles. Their names, in the order they were built, are Enterprise, Columbia, Challenger, Discovery, Atlantis and Endeavour.

The one that is missing obviously represents the Challenger. This one didn't make it into space. There was a launch accident, seven people died in the explosion. Okay, that was fourteen years ago, but I can still remember.

So, Schwestar, what do you think?

Yes I remember that, it was big news when it happened, and there was some contraversy about it a couple of years ago when pieces of the wreckage were washing up on shore or something. I have a really bad memory but I remember this because I like news about space and stuff like that.

Nice spelling.

Technically, there have been seven shuttles, if you count Buran. I think that one's rusting away in a storage yard somewhere.
