Maybe, and that could also explain exactly how does magnetic interference drive him crazy. Coming to think about it, this should be a discussion on how Bender works, since there's many things about him that could be explained or discussed. I think the body catalist theory by Lionel pretty much solved the question.

Yeah, yeah, it's all good and fun until somebody passes out... then it's hilarious!

But to topic, i do have a question : How come Bender never shuts down temporarily due to lack of alcohol? if it does power his sistems, shouldn't there be a limit to how much energy he can handle without overheating or melting his circuits and thereby shut dowm before that happens?
