In season 2's episode "The Route of All Evil," Cubert comments that he and Dwight are 12. Keep in mind that it's 3001. In "Bender Should Not be Allowed on TV," in season 5, in 3004, they're still 12. What's going on?

1) There *is no* season 5. McSeason 5 is just a continuation of season 4.
2) They've had continuity errors with the year all along.
3) They're not 12 forever, because they turned 13 in "Bender Is Not Allowed On TV"

After all, this is Futurama, and not the Simpsons we're talking here about...  :)

I think he was saying that they turned 13 at the start of BSNBAOTV, 3 years after Cubert's 12th birthday growth-scaping day.

Its doesn'ts adds ups.

Just to clarify:

- "The Route of All Evil" was from the third season production block. It was episode 3ACV12.

- "Bender should not be allowed on TV" was from the fourth season production block, episode 4ACV06.

Viewed in production order, and assuming that each ACV covers one year's worth of New New York's time, less than a year would have passed between the two episodes, making it logical that Dwight and Cubert would still be twelve at the beginning of 4ACV.

The professor states that he began the cloning proccess 12 years ago when Cubert is introduced. In Season 2.

So... looks like Anarchist and chump have to apologise to whoever started this thread, and the writers to the rest of us.

Began the cloning process. Take three or so months in perfecting the art of creating an embryo, let it develop for the standard 9-month incubation process until you have something which can be called a baby, and then, BAM! Start counting his age. This way, Cubert can be 11 in "A Clone of My Own".

You know what else clone like mad? Wizards.

The route of all evil is in season 3 not 2 season 3 is in the year 3003, season 4 is the year 3004 thus they could still be 12

You seem to be forgetting, the 4ACV episode (BSNBAOTV) celebrates cuberts' GROWTH-SCRAPING DAY , *NOT* his "im now an embryo" day. so in that respect, totalnerduk is correct in saying that if farnsworth said he started 12 years from that day, then he was 12 then.

case closed..

or reopened, I forget which ^-^
