In the episode where Fry becomes rich, when he comments that sardines would be the most delicious extinct animal they would ever eat (not likely  :puke: ), and Amy comments that she's had cow.

But in the episode where they go the Slurm factory, the queen comments on how milk comes from a cow's behind (which isn't true, anyways).

(PS: Please forgive me for not knowing the episode titles. While I am a devoted Futurama fan, I don't know where I can find this stuff out. If anybody knows where I could, it would be helpful)

I used to have the same problem with not knowing the names of episodes. (not just with futurama) A great site for a large amount of lists, reviews etc. is www.tvtome.com  , definatly worth checking out, although it can be a bit sketchy at times, i guess, because they cover so many shows.
Hope that helps
BTW : www.gotfuturama.com  will be better for futurama alone, but if you're like me and visit all kinds of these boards, TVTome is really handy.

They were anchovies, not sardines.

Cows are obviously recently enough extinct that Amy would have been able to eat one before they died out, so the practice of milking them would still be remembered, so I think people would get the Slurm queen's reference.  Yes, that sequence of words I just said made perfect sense.

If cows were recently said she would have said "Milk came from a cows behind"

But thats just me being anal about everythng...

i mentioned this in the goof thread before... maybe the queen has been alive since cows were alive- and she still uses them as an example- sort of like if you lived now since people bought records but you still buy records instead of CDs.

Maybe she doesn't even know that cow is extinct!  ...or maybe Amy was referring to the 'orignal cows' on earth.  once they became extinct, they cloned them. Thus there are still cows, but the clones just don't taste as good.  So the Queen was referring to the clone cow's behind, which milk still comes from.

Or the wizard.  Whatever.

Um... They still buy records in 3004.

And I know people in their teens who buy records today. OK, so I know a lot of DJ's and DJ-wannabes....

It could be that female Buggalo are called "cows." And, as we learned from "Series Has Landed" and "Where the Buggalo Roam," Buggalo are indeed milked to produce what we think is milk. (There is milk in the 31st century. Note all of the times Fry eats cereal, to give an example.)
