Hey what ever happened to the New Jersy Bashing that futurama started, it was used a couple of times then fizzeled out, pity really.

It seemed to be used a lot in the first 2 1/2 seasons but no I don't recall anything since then. I think the writers had no more jokes and didn't want to make it stale.

Can anyone briefly explain to non-americans, why don't Futurama makers like NJ ever so much? (We talked about it on Russian forum and noone seemed to know for sure).
