<TOTP Happy-Dance> Originally posted by Anarchist: It was "U Leave Me Breathless." I can see it very clearly on my, ah, digital copy.
Here's an image of it - I magnified it and circled the individual words.
It clearly says: U leave me breath- less. DUDE! You have w-a-a-a-y too much free time on your hands! (This coming from someone who regularly surfs PEEL, CGEF, FSAC, TLZ...) Now, it's my turn to show how big a geek I am! I was watching my tape of “The Sting” for the umpteenth time, and something occurred to me: How long does it take to build an intergalactic delivery-service ship? <disclaimer> For reasons I’ll not bore you with, currently I have no access to my Futurama materials (save my fresh tape of "The Sting" ), and limited Internet access, so bear with me; I’m wingin’ it. </disclaimer> 1) In SP3K, when Fry, Bender, & Leela show up at Farnsworth’s, he says he recently lost his delivery crew. 2) Farnsworth also says he built an intergalactic starship, with the implication that it is the PE ship we’ve all come to know and love. 3) In “Sting” the PE crew discovers the previous PE ship partially encased in the space-bee’s hive. Now, that whole “Space-bee’s vs. Space-Wasp’s” thing of exactly how the previous PE crew died, aside: How much time passed between their getting killed, and Fry, Bender, And Leela’s appearance on the scene? The reason I ask is that in SP3K, Farnsworth had a fresh ship ready to go. Did enough time pass for him to build another ship? Seems unlikely to me. Or did he start building the new ship before the loss of the previous PE crew? Or did he just happen to have a spare starship in his pocket? Did he know his crew wasn’t coming back and plan for it? Or are there other possibilities I don’t see? I’ve a few thoughts rattling around my head, but I’d like to hear your ideas. <edited 'cuz double posts are a no-no!>

We have no way of knowing how much time passed between the death of the old crew and the arrival of Leela, Fry and Bender. Also, you have to remember that Farnsworth is #1) a genius and #2) completely unpredictable - he can build an intergalactic spaceship at any given moment.

And, yes, there is a Semitic Museum at Harvard. http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~semitic/ The word "Semitic" refers to the Semites. A semite is defined as: A member of a group of Semitic-speaking peoples of the Near East and northern Africa, including the Arabs, Arameans, Babylonians, Carthaginians, Ethiopians, Hebrews, and Phoenicians. or A Jew. So, in effect, the packet is stating Jewish Miss Cocoa as opposed to Swiss Miss Cocoa.

Or maybe he got a new hat that looks like the old one and transferred the computer components to the new hat.
Well, are there any episodes between "Mars University" and "The Sting" that FOX hasn't aired yet?

Yeah, there's one ep between them that Fox still hasn't got round to airing yet, 'Bender Should Not Be Allowed on TV'. Anyway, one other thing I was thinking, what's so special about this honey that it's worth risking your life for? In Leela's dream we were told the effects of the honey, and it has an almost drug-like effect. But that was just in Leela's dream, not real. And before Professor Farnsworth set the mission, she didn't even know anything about it. So you can't really judge the honey on Leela's dream. So I wonder what's so special about it?

There was an iv stand, it just wasn't hooked up to her. I guess having her hooked up would have made it harder to show her hugging Fry.

Something's bothering me. The writers have liberally sprinkled Futurama with 'hints' alluding to future eps. For example, Nibbler's shadow in SP3K, just as an example. You might also make a case for Fry's playing the Holophoner for Leela in PL tying into TDHAIP. I may have spotted a new one: After Fry is 'reconstituted' from royal jelly, Farnsworth explains how it happened: Fry left an imprint of his brainwaves in the jelly: When Leela spilled it on the PE lounge couch, the imprinted jelly touched Fry's DNA from flecks of his skin, hair, etc. still in the couch. Then {here it comes} Bender says, "And Fry's blood, don't forget about Fry's blood!" Just what about Fry's blood are we supposed to remember? Assuming, of course, that we're supposed to remember anything about Fry's blood. So tell me, what do you think?

In SP3K, when Fry, Bender, & Leela show up at Farnsworth’s, he says he recently lost his delivery crew. Yeah, but he's 159 years old when he says that. To him, five years would probably seem "recent". In the funeral scene we see Guenter the monkey wearing a business suit and his hat - except the hat is back to normal...it isn't squashed anymore, implying that he's now super intelligent again...perhaps a bit of backstory on that one? In the last "epilogue" scene from Mars University, his hat is already back to normal. Just what about Fry's blood are we supposed to remember? The only thing I can remember is from Insane in the Mainframe. Fry is stabbed by Roberto in the room, and easily could've bled on the couch.

Hey... Something just occurs to me: Why did Farnsworth send the crew to fetch space-honey, anyway? In the 6.02x10^18 times I've watched my tape of 'The Sting' I've not noticed any reason. 'Course... I am a shippier, so I was kind'a distracted... What gives?
