Leela's ring!

Alright in SP3K we see in the scene of new york ruins where Leela and fry touch hands that Leela has a ring, then Bender steals it bla bla bla. ok the point is that on any of the other episodes i haven't seen Leela with the ring have you?

It was integral to a fanfic I wrote a while back, but other than that, no.  Maybe she won it in a box of Cracker Jacks, or Bender may have pawned it.

Maybe she, or rather the writers, had no use for it anymore...

I wrote to David X Cohen about this infamous ring, and his response was that it was merely put there for Bender's thievery skills to initially show up.   Although he never discounted the chance of it returning .. providing the show keeps going.

I think it would have been cool if she kept it, and that intead of the bracelet in 'Leela's Homeworld', it could have been the ring
